What's your favourite and least favourite story arc in D3?

I didn't enjoyed the storyline at all but I will try to choose the best moment.

Best: Zoltun Kulle, cool character with nice backstory, actually the most honest character in D3, has some issues with himself but he has good motives, Engaging dialogue (one of the very few :/)

Worst: Probably the 'tactical genius' Azmodan and 'master of deception' Belial.

Really the worst about this game is dialogue, it's supposed to be respectable, serious, malevolent, thrilling instead we get comic/cartoonish/Disney villains

Zoltun Kulle was cool (hehe). I still don't understand why we had to kill him.

The storyline I liked the best was the Leoric one, minus Maghda. It just felt more polished than the rest, better presented.

I was very dissapointed with every single one of the Act bosses and the overall presentation of the lore.

There were quite a few things that bugged me. The character dialogue chief among them. While Azmodan was weak as a character, the entirety of Act III caters to my inner Diablo fanboy. Something about it is just so very nostalgic.

I enjoyed The Imprisoned Angel (Halls of Agony, fucking awesome) and Act III. I thought that the beginning part of Act III was pretty incredible. Fighting to defend Bastion's Keep was really exciting the first time through, especially because the dialogue with the people inside the castle was really well done. The end of Act III was also really cool.

Yet I would have to say the best part about the Diablo III storyline was Covetous Shen

The worst part about the storyline would have to be Maghda.

Skeleton King story <3,I think act 4 had a lot of potential, great visual presentation but the pacing of the act made the story meh.

As much as I dislike the Zoltun Kulle questline I have to agree with you that he is an interesting character, I loved understanding what he really meant when playing for the second time: "I'm the least of your concerns, you are surrounded by deceit" (to Leah, with Adria at her side)

Best: All of Act 3. Seriously this act is awesome. Azmodan is in my Top 10 Biggest Badasses (no pun intended) easily. The minibosses were really creative. Overall loved it.

Worst: You can't fight Imperius. The build up to this fight was huge, and when it didn't happen it's pretty much hot porn turning into the Republican Candidate Debate.

Technically they need some room. Having an expansion that says "You finally get to kick Imperius's ass" feels so much more satisfying than "Go kick this random guy's ass. Because he turned evil or something. I guess"

Most likely saved for an expansion. As far as we know, the prophecy has yet to be fulfilled.

I know! I wasn't joking when I said the best part of the Diablo III storyline was Covetous Shen. I laughed my ass off listening to his interactions with my character my first time through.

Best: Meeting the other Archangels.
Worst: I was expecting a LOT more from the coven... they just didn't seem that sinister and diabolic (see what I did here?), and I was expecting them to be a bigger threat in the story.

Best: Act III in general, though I wanted to raise more catapults (Three?!) and the outdoor areas (battlefields etc.) could have been little longer, and again; 3 ballistaes and ONE catapult, a massive one I agree, but still ONE :/. (BTW who else thinks Act III could have 10 quests like Act I and II?)

Worst: Dialogue, especially Kulle's and Diablo's (That of his "TerROAR" is on of the most irritating things I've ever heard), oh and Tyrael standing like some zombie for the WHOLE of Act II, remember this?:

Us: "Leah has been captured and Imperial guards are demons in disguise!"
Tyrael: "O.O YOU must go and save her, I'll just stay here doing nothing with my super powerful angelic sword."

I have to agree with Zlurk. Act 1 was a great mix of story, gameplay and the pace was right.
Act 4 was to fast it felt to much like rushing to diablo without a deep side story.
But the cinematic scene at the end was just epic!

Worst moment when azmodan(master of tactics) tells you where is he , LOL. Leah, cuz they ressurected dat potion sellin witch:/, joke, and with the black soulstone diablo have all the powerfull demons power, weakest diablo ever, but this is my opinion, open for discuss.

I loved thyrael story, really really loved act1-2-4, Leoric's story with foundable books really cool.
