Demon Hunter - 100k Inferno Clear
mukunda has been hard at work putting a great deal of content out on his 100k gold Inferno clear. He provides 10 videos of his full clear (around a total of 15 hours). Diablo III Hotfixes - July 26th
Blizzard has updated the hotfix list for July. The only fixes seem to be those of the Wizard and Barbarian bugs.

PayPal Maintenance and the RMAH
It looks like PayPal will be undergoing maintenance, which will delay any payments sent from the RMAH during those times.

We have been notified by PayPal that they will be performing a scheduled maintenance to their system on July 27 and August 3, 2012 to improve the performance of their services. During this maintenance window you will receive an error message when trying to purchase items on the RMAH using PayPal or attempting to receive funds. The transaction will however be recorded and our system will automatically process it again at a later point. Please note, that this will delay the arrival of your funds.

Blizzard Activities Confirmed for gamescom 2012

The world premiere of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria opening cinematic will wow the crowds at our booth during the first fully public day of the event, Thursday August 16, at 14:00. We’ll also have a live drum performance from MANAO - Drums of China – the all-female Chinese drumming group that opened and closed the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

You can also participate in our Mists of Pandaria Leveling Contest on Thursday and Friday, or step into the spotlight for the Blizzard Costume Contest and the World of Warcraft Dance Contest, on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Impress our judges and win some amazing prizes from our partners.

Experience the enchanting music from the World of Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises performed by a live orchestra on Friday and Saturday, or watch as Blizzard artist Grace Liu demonstrates her drawing skills live on stage each day of the event. You can also take home autographs from Blizzard developers during developer signing sessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

You’ll be able to witness some of the best pro gamers from around the world battle it out for your viewing pleasure in StarCraft II show matches throughout the event, including players from our StarCraft II World Championship Series global tournament. If you’re a noob, fret not – you can attend our StarCraft II Academy session on Friday, where a well-known StarCraft II personality will teach you how to get an edge on your opponent.

Watch as two well-known World of Warcraft guilds race to see who can annihilate the mightiest enemies fastest during exciting live raids on Saturday and Sunday. You can also witness some of the planet’s best PvP players fight it out in the 2012 European World of Warcraft Invitational Final on Sunday afternoon, streamed live from the Turtle Entertainment booth.

Bashiok has tweeted about the good old Battle.net MP3 player where you can go and listen to your old favorite songs from Starcraft, Diablo, and Diablo II.

By now most players have leveled a few characters to 60, or at least have started a second character. What character was your first 60?

I've tried DH glass-cannon builds in Inferno... so many deaths... 350ms latency probably doesn't help.

I always loved how that old school "battle.net mp3 player" is modeled directly after Winamp. Still using Winamp after all these years.

I'm using mine to easily farm gold in act I while the monk and demon hunter still struggle to find the right gear to go on to act 2 and 3... barb and wizard are still lvl 50 something, so I guess next week or the week after I'll have 5 lvl 60 chars and can decide on a whim with which class to play.

Indeed item prices fluctuate, especially after guides are posted the price of the affixes used skyrockets if it wasn't absurd already.

In act II Inferno the game became frustrating

So i made a Wizzard!
In act II Inferno the game became frustrating

So i made a DH (glass cannon)
In act III Inferno, after Ghom the game became frustrating

So i made a Monk
I'm in act III inferno now and with the right party the game is flowing!

I retired mine because I'm sick of gearing him up only to see him die in seconds regardless to his resilience (500-600 res with 47k health and nearly 30k dps, but if I run into bullshit pack in Act 2+, he's dead). I also refuse to blow over 50 million on a stupid gimmick build that requires stats other classes laugh at (Finding gear on the AH is already painful enough as a Witch Doctor).

My 54 Monk nearly has the same health and 1/5 of my WDs res, and she can take a beating in Hell with a dual-wield set (two weapons with 250-something dps). It's kinda sad, really.

Meh. I'm in act 3 with my WD. It's not frustrating; it's just boring. I'm not interested in spending 5 minutes on the same elite group. That's not very fun.

These "100K build" articles are kind of silly.  The chance involved in actually getting the gear the person who wrote the guide has is so slim.  

I mean I see the usefulness of the guide to an extent.  I guess my real argument is against the title.  hehe
