The meteor falls in to the church in Tristram apparently. And then look at the hole it makes in the place, you can tell by the smoking around the holes walls and the same girl that was there when it fell looking in.

Do you remember what is under the church if it is in Tristram? In Deckards Diary on the site he tells us again that the evil was under the church.

The meteor making this hole to deep under the church could be revealing more evil to come in that church.

The meteor is when the trouble starts and the meteor falls from the sky.

And this looks like Tyreal is on a pentagon of 5 runes lighting up? You can only see 4 but where it cuts out on the bottom looks like another could fit, and then he starts tripping out and changing into an evil Tyreal??

Sorry for all of the images but they help a great deal in explaining.

I believe story and lore will be revealed through the concept art pictures and other sources. If we are keen enough to check out the details and come up with some ideas that make sense.

P.s. the girl in the beginning lighting the candles could have been summoning the meteor or something? Note that she was outside when the meteor was coming, she was looking up at it then runs inside. It could have been a part of the larger meteor falling on the church, one of the fragments.

What do you guys think about the story so far, what do you think is going on and will go on?

1) Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal were killed but their soulstones were never destroyed.

2) Tyrael was a traitor and had the soulstones the whole time, you only destroyed fake ones.

3) There is now 6 acts.

4) Hephasto is boss of act 2.

5) Mephisto is boss of act 3.

6) Diablo is boss of act 4.

7) Baal is boss of act 5.

8) Tyrael is boss of act 6.

9) There is new set items, weapons, etc.

10) In each act, every boss leaves you with at least one new set item.

11) Larger gold max of 5,000,000 in private stash, and larger gold max of 2,500,000 that your character can carry.

I would to prefer to play in a more open way. Like i can choose my path instead of following one. So i dont like the act idea. If the acts were huge then perhaps but otherwise i'm not so sure.

I also think gold should be more valuable. Like in WoW.

Duriel wouldn't be in Diablo 3 because if I remember right he didn't have a soulstone. And he's not one of the better bosses. He's just put there so there was challange. But hey I might be wrong.

i think that they shudnt chnage the concept of the game just keep it simple but renew the acts maybe rouge and all that shit was rebuilt and the merc's are actually worth something i also think they shud make a hole new set of bosses but instread they should make a baal clone and d2 clone and i think they shud get rid of all those duped shit items it ruins the game completely

yes yes ya`ll. I think they should make D3 so that u can choose ur path,either light or dark, and depending on which path u take,that is where ur game begins (heaven or hell). At the end i`d like 2 c a 'heaven vs hell' battle.Would b a nice contrast with the light and serenity of heaven vs the darkness and chaos of hell. Just an idea :P

i think y=tyrael being evil is wicked cool since i loved d2 and played it all the time and use to think like wow tyrael should be evil. it's a cool idea and i can't wait for it to come out

You guys are all talking about changing little parts of diablo, there is going to be so much more changes than that i hope, go play diablo 1 and then play diablo 2 you will see sooooo many changes, so IF diablo 3 comes out there will hopefully be many changes.

The only thing that convinces me that tyreal is evil is the fact that when in that cineamatic when marius took out baals soulstone,
the fact that diablo (in the dark wanderer form) was able to take down an archangel seems a bit sketchy, watch the cinematic if you dont kno what im talkin about its the 2nd or 3rd, its the one on the bridge and all the fire and baal is like "please release me" and marius releases him, watch how easily tyreal was distracted, so thats about it

I hope that they will impose the day and night concept and bring it further such those those heaven character will find that their damage on their enemies will increase in the day and reduced damage at night
