Two new images were added to the CSS file today.




Here's the completed image.

Harbinger: 08
Cavern: 15
Cold: 16
Icy: 23

[D, H, O, P, W, ?]

That leaves us with 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42.
Look familiar? They are the LOST numbers.
You can only wonder why Blizzard chose these numbers.

There are some pretty convincing similiarities between the mysterious figure and the lich king.
But, as you can see, there's one big difference.

The "snowflake" looks a bit like a waypoint in diablo or that funky Protoss building in Starcraft I think.

Edit: Shield battery. And waypoints in Diablo don't have 8 branches.

Interestingly, a quick google reveals that "Harbinger" is an action RPG, not all too unlike Diablo.

Anyhow, why would BLizzard suddenly decide to reveal 2 pieces of the puzzle? Smells like a diversion to me. I wouldn't be surprised if the last piece (42.jpg) is fake and that the real one will be posted tomorrow.

Ok The new splash image has been released so I would like to remind evryone to keep their cool. I know everyone including myself is excited but please lets not act like madmen over this. Lets remember the fact that nothing is definitive and Blizzard would not post anything in here that is going to give it away. Also before posting anything make sure you have checked in previous posts so as not to post something we have already seen. I would also like to make a note to the spammers - please just stay away, I am tired of people posting all this crap with rick rolled and stuff that is completly irrelevent. So once again just be happy that news is comming but we still wont know for sure what until saturday so until then I would suggest we all just sit back and relax and see what happens.

The snowflake looks like pitchforks are sticking out of it. Notice the 3 forks, which makes me think it's not a viking compass but actual pitchforks.

5 runes in the right spots for the pentagram and could mean 5 seals...

Guys, if Diablo III isnt announced, then a) all these websites are wrong, and b) We gotta start flooding Blizzard with e-mails, and start thinking of cancelling WoW subscriptions if you have any.

I think the all the runes (except for Hel of course) in this new Splash image, are NEW runes to the Diablo Series and can be expected to be used in the new game.

They may be similar to other games, because well, duh, there made by same company.

If you don't think departments in the same company do not share materials your insane.

The creature we see is organic, it is not a helm, or a robot. I looks protosish, but that may be a way to confuse us some more.

My guess would be either one of the lesser evils (Azmodan, Kabraxis, etc..) escaping.

Or Tyreal finally getting out of Mt. Arreat, possibly a demon like Izual was turned into...

W/e the out come, I am definately excited for a new Blizz product, just please no World of Diablo...
