Some things were further tweaked so that hopefully should clear up some issues.
I think the problem with smileys is they're an image which has a url in it.

Just want to tell you that it's still an issue. Can't post smileys if you are new and the error message is not really helping there, so new users may get confused. You could add another line to the error message, saying "No smileys." untill you have fixed the issue.
