r these books fun 2 read or is the game diablo 2 more fun
What kind of silly question is that? Of course Diablo 2 is more fun than the books, but a person shouldn't spend all their life doing only one thing.

i loved the ones i've read (by R. Knaak and Mel Odom) but i haven't gotten around to the latest two. All the time i could be reading, i spend on message bords like this one >_>
I like all the subtle references to the games. The way spells and abilities work in the books makes sense and doesn't limit the character to certain builds or anything goofy like that. I specifically remember in The Black Road they mentioned how gemmed blades drew too much attention to you from robbers and whatnot, it was cool to see a reference that brought a feeling of realism to such a forgranted concept like gems

Stay.
You don't always know where you stand,

There's something inside me that feels...
Like breathing in sulfur.

I read all except Moon of the Spider. I have the Sin War Trilogy as three separate books, and the Diablo Archive (One Thick Book), which contains Legacy of Blood, The Black Road, The Kingdom of Shadow, and Demonsbane in that order.
Current ES Character: Lt_Venom (Poison Necromancer)

This shows one main thing. The newer novels are more popular, there is much more (per time) people that read the sinwar trilogy. The funny thing is so many people wanted more of zayl, and never returend when it was given in moon of the spider. And its just phenominal to me, that in comparison to how long its been released, how many more people read sinwar.

I cant stand reading unless its something I like, theres like 3-4 series of books I can read and a few bio/autobios I want to. The Diablo books - COmpletly worth it, I only regret it took me so long to get them.
Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.
