Hi Dretar,
First, thanks a ton for this spreadsheet, it is tremendously useful. I've encountered my first bizarre discrepancy between my in-game screen and the spreadsheet; I was wondering if anyone else had encountered an issue specifically with Natalya's Reflection...

Here I am with 160k dps, and the spreadsheet (v1.9) has almost the exact same number (it's off by 0.02, haha).
[bah, I can't post URLs since I'm new.]

Here I am after right-clicking, with 169,498.31 dps in-game, but the spreadsheet now says 168,628.61.
[bah, I can't post URLs since I'm new.]

Sure, being off by less than a thousand with numbers that high isn't a huge deal, but the fact that it was dead-on before and noticeably off now tells me something's wrong. I double-checked that I'm putting the 3-set dex bonus in the right spot, and I checked the total dex/cc/cd/as numbers in the right column against my character sheet in-game, everything matches up except the damage. Interestingly, before I equip the ring, that +5xx that the game client shows doesn't appear to match up with anything in the spreadsheet. That *should* be the damage after equipping the ring but before applying the set bonus, but that's not matching either; the spreadsheet says that without the set bonus, the ring should be a loss (-198.54), which is thoroughly confusing.

Honestly I wonder if Blizzard is miscalculating something here and not you... The in-game damage boost shown for putting the ring on is different than the in-game damage loss shown for taking the ring off (wtf?).

Thanks for any insight you might have into what's going on, I registered just to post this.

Can't do much without seeing the ring/your gear and your sheet :(.

But does the ring have any +X-Y damage bonus or smth ? - those bonusses used to be bugged a bit in the past and im not sure it's been totally fixed.

1.92 is up.

1.92
- Added Boar Rune for Companion.
- Fixed Perfectionist Passive.
- Changed the default number format to % for reduced dmg from elites.
- Some tweaks to EHP stat-weights (due to changes to perfectionist and boar).

Not really :(.

Check for wizard-specific dps sheets here on diablofans - I'm sure there are at least 1 of them.

Hey Dretar- do you mind if some of us have "Demon Hunter spreadsheet by Dretar: link" in our signature?  Figure since this thread gets pushed down some it would at least expose it to a newer DH.

Always like to ask before addy'ing someone else's work, even credited.

Conform or be cast out.

+1

I use this extensively for every potential upgrade. The accuracy of the DPS is 99% accurate (mine is within 10 dps)

Hi Dretar,
is there a way to include proper calculation of elemental damage on weapons and +% to elemental damage affixes? I assume your spreadsheet automatical considers all weapon damage as physical, right?

I mention this in relation to Manticore, which is becoming popular choice for DHs but it is hard to understand how will the final DPS look like once using this weapon.

Yes it is possible.

Check the OP for the "guide".

To be brief.

All damage yuou input is treated as physiclal - Yes

but there are also cells for min and max elemental damage.

So - you need to input the total dmg in the cells in "weapon data".

Then at the "+X%ele dmg" section, input the amount of elemental dmg (poison, fire - does not matter what element).

what the formula does is takes the difference between total and elemental and considers only pure physical for the +X% ele dmg buff. - which is in line with Blizz calculation.

Cheers,
