What is a good soundtrack that you heard from movies or anything else?
I watched this movie called Heavy metal...fucking good soundtrack. It had some of the best bands from the 80s play the songs in the movie. Again, don't be shy to write what you like even if it's a little embarrassing.

Woot! Radar rider's by the riggs, a song from heavy metal!

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.

Depends on the type of soundtrack I suppose. Are you looking for original scores or just a bunch of compiled songs by various artists?

I really like the Dune soundtrack as well as Star Trek 8, 9, and 10. Jerry Goldsmith was an incredible composer.

Rushmore and Bottle Rocket are good soundtracks of compiled and original music. Amelie is a great soundtrack as well.

Unlike normal songs, I scale Soundtracks more on how they fit the movie. If at the end of the movie I were to listen to the soundtrack and feel like it brings memories of the movie that capture the mood excellently, then I think they are good. That is why I have the (annoying to some) habit of watching a movie all the way through the credits even.

Soundtracks that fit the movies: Donnie Darko, I Am Legend, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and a good whole bunch more.

Top Gun anthem ?
''May the Gods provide you with the strength and power to bear the madness which flows through my.. oh sorry, 'our' minds''

''They never knew who i was and what i could do. And, they still don't know who i am and what i can do. God save them all.''

FightClub, Snatch, Blade 1-3, 300, The Departed, Gone in 60 Seconds, Natural Born Killers, The Matrix, and The Matrix Reloaded, all of those are friggin awesome soundtracks.

(The Matrix Revolutions soundtrack sucks my left nut, only one good song on there by Pale 9, called In My Head)

:O Thats on my list of movies to watch! lol

Requiem For A Dream has a really good score.

I love the Donnie Darko score too!

I also really like the score for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. They used Patrick Doyle for that one, and hadn't used him for any of the other movies. Its really nice a dark. I love the song called 'The Dark Mark', especially at the 0:16 point.
Here it is: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=3ZoBiJmzBVg
(I know its Harry Potter, but its not the Harry Potter them at all. Just listen)

Oh! Oh! I really love the Transformers score as well!

YES! I'm with you there :D
Although my favorite from Transformers is Scorponok Attacks

Other than that, Terminator 2 was good. And the Starwars music is good as well, The Imperial March and Duel of the Fates

On another note, I really like what Harry Gregson Williams did for Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, even though they aren't movies.

Oh Jesus, what he did for the MSG2 Intro Sequence was unworldly. I have never had the desire to see a game intro every time I turned on my PS, until I heard that song. Even have it on CD around here somewhere. Most godlike performance in my opinion for any game :D

Oh yeah, Donnie Darko has an amazing soundtrack!!

I never really noticed the music in Transformers, there wasn't anything that really popped out to me. I don't really think there is anything too special about that music. It is above average, kinda powerful, but I don't think of the movie when I hear it.

Yeah Thomas Newman is great. The only thing I didn't like about his music was how after American Beauty, his style of music became so popular that you started hearing it in tons of hip, edgy advertisements for a long time.

My favorite movie soundtrack is certainly from eXistenZ (Howard Shore), followed closely by LEXX OST (Marty Simon). I also liked a couple tracks from Gattaca and Videodrome OST's.

Dune soundtrack seemed nice but I never downloaded it, it didn't seem like all that many tracks in the movie itself.
