Ok, so we're considering the scenario of a 2v2 Monk-Barbarian team.

Here is my barbarian build:

http://eu.battle.net...YdiP!YfZ!bZYcaa

Here is the monk build:

http://eu.battle.net...Xdfk!Tef!.bcZZb

I believe this will be the strongest lineup of the first PvP patch release due to the fact that they crush anything that casts spells(wd, wiz) and they have means of catching an 150% movement speed demon hunter and bash it. Versus similar team lineups - flip a coin.

Build is strictly speculant, as the game ain't released yet :flame: .

Mantras may vary, but this 2v2 lineup seems impossible to beat at higher tiers in the near future.

Commence discussion.

Well first off you have no runes, no passives selected on the monk. Also your skills are questionable to me, but well see when the game comes out. I got a build that I am sure can ruin yours but well it's my build and I wanna keep it that way at least till all of the cookie cutting begins like...ETA 1 week of release.

pretty sure you cant assign one class for cc the other for raw dmg (in 4v4 it might work but its a gimmick/easier to pull of on a ranged/stealthy/hybrid class). i can see the barb chasing the opponents all the time while monk tries to cc. in other pvp oriented games each class needs an oh shit button/cc of some sort.

Nice feedback.

@G0ldmember
The thing is no chasing will happen, as both have mega slows. The problem with the Barb builds I saw on this forum is that they didn't considered the fact that the Barb will not generate so much Fury like in PvM. The slows here allow him to Bash-out some generation. A standard DH/Wizard pillar hugging will ruin a barb.

@Adon
I have the runes attached. Are you sure you don't have an issue seeing them? At lest post your 2v2 lineup, so I might get a clue about your counter.

It is actually so easy to see a build and make one that will crush it, so do not be so proud of yourself.

Man, the combination of Monk and Barb seems really good for me as well, however, it is too early to talk now. By the way, I think that tempest rush is not suitable for PvP, but that's just my opinion.
