I would gladly take this survey, but I just feel as if I cant. I got to the first page, and I couldn't just answer the questions on a scale. It really all depends... For instance, I wouldn't assume the Wizard is skilled or isn't skilled. I'm not one to assume, I would have to wait 'till I see them in battle. Also, just because he bought stuff off the RMAH doesn't mean I will or wont respect him. That depends on who he is as aperson, and I really just can't choose an answer on those options. And the question about who would I rather save. I just can't pick, haha. There's always a scenario. I see the point of your survey, but I just can't answer the questions with the provided answers unless you wan't me to just pick something, even though it's not how I feel.

I completely understand you point of view. But -how do I tell this without giving away too much information- the study is based on certain gut feelings that are caused by certain factors. maybe you could just give it another try, and not try to over-analyse the questions. If you leave your email address you will be told how the study was created, and it will sound more logical, promised!

That is a good point! I never thought to think what the study could be for. I'll go ahead and answer the questions as best as I can, thanks for the response! =)

I am sorry you feel that way, but you have no idea what I am measuring and how much ground my master thesis covers so in my opinion you haven't got a clue what you are talking about.
But thanks for looking into it, your effort is appreciated!

That is kinda the point. You know the wizard as you have played with them before. The DH is completely unknown to you. How do you feel about each one. Go!

You shouldn't force people who don't assume the skill of a fellow member to chose.
I currently don't know if I should vote "average" for the very first question, because I think the results will be messed up, since I don't judge it's skill as average (moreover based only on buying at GAH, how the hell is that connected to skill ???)
edit : your study results will be massively biased, since you completely ignore people who just don't know. Some of them won't answer, some of them will put irrelevant stuff since they are forced to chose between options that do not fit. No doubt you will interpret the results, but I can tell you right away that they won't mean much.
Building survey is tricky since you always assume people will see things the way you do.
In this particular case, you assume people are able to judge based on virtually no information. Those people will make their mind base on other criterias than those offered, but will be forced into your answers, spoiling the results.
You'd better have a "don't know" option. Even if there are 90% answering "I don't know", at least the people who responded will have put valuable answers.
Unlike what you seem to think, the "gut feeling" is irrelevant when people are forced into situations that literally never happen, because they act differently.
Any hope the study would be redone with a broder range of acceptable behaviors to the situations you describe ?
