What Game Systems do you Want Blizzard to explain in the Official Game Guide
As we posted yesterday, Blizzard is looking for game systems that you want explained on the game guide. Please make sure to take a look at that post, and leave any thoughts there as well. We will be checking everything posted and sending it off later.

Keep in mind these should be things such as "Explain how magic find works” or “How exactly attack speed works with channeling spells.” and not generic Q&A style questions or website features!

The Halls of Agony
Some users noticed in the Demon Hunter Spotlight that was posted yesterday that we got a hint of an area that will be in the retail version of the game. In this picture you can see the quest titled "The Imprisoned Angel" which requires you to enter the Halls of Agony Level 2

Diablo 3 Pre-Order Boxes
Though these have been popping about around stores recently and is not 100% new, its time to build up the hype a little more! IcySoul posted a thread containing the Portuguese version of the preorder box. He also took the time to translate whats on the back, which happens to be what Blizzard has on this page.

DiabloFans Quote:

Evil is in its prime
Twenty years have passed since the Prime Evils were defeated and banished from the world of Sanctuary. Now, you must return to where it all began – the town of Tristram – and investigate rumors of a fallen star, for this is the first sign of evil’s rebirth, and an omen that the End Times have begun.

Wield the might of a thousand powers
Shake the earth, blast your enemies with fire and ice, summon otherworldly minions and much more as you wield the powers of your heroic birthright.

Conquer an infinite battlefield.
Lay waste to legions of evil throughout randomized, 3D environments. Face innumerable demonic villains, uncover quests in new locations, and claim different loot every time you play. No two games are ever the same.

Trade the spoils of war
Use the Real Money Auction House to buy and sell items for real world currency. Then draw on your earnings to buy ever more powerful items or cash out your trades, take the money, and run. The choice is yours.

The "imprisoned Angel" part should be in spoiler brackets.

They mean server side. As far as I know all their beta/PTR servers are run from the same place, so it's just an effect of that.

I dont believe this is server side problem. As many other I have had this issue too. It seems when you encounter something new such as monsters, new areas or new spells, game just freezes for ~5 seconds. Haven´t cheched for my self but many claims that HD activity rises like hell so when it lags, game is loading those new things. And this happens only for the first time you encounter something. It never lags again.

And if server lags, you can still walk around smoothly (combat and walking is in client), so bug is there and its not server side. Havent played Beta for awhile but still people post about this. And the weird part is this seems to be totally random. Sometimes I have it, sometimes dont. My system should be fine and I have SSD so... weird. I´m not an expert but it could be driver problem.

I feel the same as Kalikoojack, its weird sometimes the game runs smoothly others i get freezes, most of the time this happen when reaching an area or killing some pack, if i go there again later the game just runs normal.
Probably its a bit of everything and we wont have this problem on the retail servers, i hope!

tbh the only reason i buy game guides is for the pretty pictures, the smell of a new book, and the look of it on my cupboard, i cant think of any reason to buy one unless you are new at gaming in general, the tips are usually useless except for complete noobs :/ this isnt true for games that require guides obviously, like an rpg, or game filled with secrets, but guides for things like WoW are generally shit, you can get all the info u need on the net. SO in conclusion i would like to see lots of pretty pictures, well formatted tables containing useless but interesting information that u can read while you are on the toilet.
Currently playing: League of legends, Legend of Grimlock, Magic:the gathering 2012, Dota 2 beta, Civilisation IV

I spent all day yesterday avoiding the thread on /r/diablo marked [[[SPOILER!]]], and then trip right over the information I was avoiding right on the front page here. Registered with Curse just to give you a sarcastic, "thanks."

You tripped. Your bad. If you can't handle blaming yourself, point them at Blizzard. They are the source.

Indeed. If a person truly doesn't want "spoilers", there's a 100% success rate when you turn off the internet.
