I wrote a simple Java program that shows a sweet countdown to the release date right on your desktop.

It is draggable and you can put it whereever you want. Just unzip it and double click countdown.jar to run it.

Java required.

I never understood why people would want these things, only makes the wait seem much longer for me.

This sums up my thoughts. I could understand using it the day before, as it would be exciting.  But Starting this now only seems maddening.

This is great. Is it possible not to have the timer in the foreground all the time? Just want it on my desktop. How can I delete it?

There is lots of problem with Java atm. Hackers found a new way with java in order to hack people. I even remove java from my computer. You can personaly search java hackers but I can give you my reference website..

I am not against your work, I just dont trust java at all.
