If so, what genre of metal ( Ex, death metal.) What bands? I personally enjoy Death/Melodic death metal. here is an example.

I've always been a fan of all types of metal bands, except for bands like the OP linked... I just can't stand those screaming vocals. Many of those bands that have the screaming vocals have great instrumental, but as soon as the vocals come in I can't listen anymore. My favorite band has always been Slayer... favorite song "Seasons in the Abyss."

I am normally not into that type either, but there is something i like about Arch enemy.

I'm a proud nu metal fan, same with the American metal wave of bands like Chimaira, Shadows Fall, etc.  I like all types, but since my teen years coincided with the mid to late 90's, I'll always defend the red-headed step child of metal.

Fave band currently is Machine Head.  Last three albums have been spectacular, particularly the last two which have become some of my all-time favorites.  Can't wait for the new Meshuggah.

I actually saw Machine Head at Mayhem fest last year. They did not do very good when compared to other bands.
