Can't say I am too surprised by this. The Discipline regen was going to be quite a bit compared to the others, though at the same time it still sucks since it would've been nice to have.

To build your char around something what disappear as soon as you enter a party is ridiculous. Hey, I'm normally always full of hatred but sorry guys my palla is gone so please stay a while and listen till my hatred is full again :P

If you are in a group, you probably don't need the disc skills as much.  Besides, you can change skills in town instantly.

Inspire has been nerfed to the ground! 2 mana per second 0.5 arcane power per second 1 hatred per second (0 discipline now) Fury 8% generated Spirit 12% generated The templar just lost a ton of value. The talent almost seems worthless now!

any source for this change?

I don't have any problems with this change, because before the change it feels to necessary to take the templar for soloplay if you need extra discipline for your build.
Its on the beta, you have to be on the beta to even see a fraction of the actual changes.

The inspire talent gives about 10% resource increase gained, but for the DH it was 100%.
Thats obviously not balanced properly. And its brought down to be about as good for everyone now
What!  Thats such a terrible arguement.  If the resources were the same, sure, but they are radically different.

Hey guess what!!  1 hatred / sec is still +25% increase !!! ZOMG THATS OP!!!  It should be 0.1 hatred!!!  That is an absurdly low inconsequential #, but fk it.  Lets make the %s equal!

It all depends of skills/runes you use. I will need disc as much in group as solo and with a group it will be even more useful for me. And I don't want to be dependent on my sidekick anyway :)

Yup, the Discipline regen was OP and got nerfed - it was 100% of our base regen - it had to happen. That being said I hope Nightstalker is good enough to provide us with Discipline we need in Inferno, I don't want to be forced to use Multishot (Rune - Suppressing Fire?), or Preperation (I want to use it for Hatred!). Either of those outcomes is also a design issue ;)

I don't like any of the options personally.

Bola Shot - Bitter Pill - Averages out to ~1 disc per shot, but its random.
NIghtstalker - takes the place of a passive that could yield +15% additional dmg.
Prep - 45 second cooldown, no thx.
Multi-shot - Suppression - the idea that I might have to use this in every build kinda sickens me.  It hits for bleh dmg, and costs 15 hatred.

The most likely (and somewhat unfortunate, based on the opinions being given ITT) "solution" to making discipline heavy builds will be Suppression.  Obviously a lot of people (ITT) are unhappy with the feeling of being "forced" into using a specific skill.  It makes sense, people like choices, flexibility, etc.

If in fact Suppression becomes the staple skill for building discipline heavy builds around, I don't think it will be as bad as people think though either.  Based on the hatred regen possible in the beta, I think its safe to say that everybody will have much more come 60.  15 per shot probably won't even be very noticeable.
