Also, I can't help but leave a comment on something you said:
For someone who said to be such a "hardcore Diablo fan", not leveling up alternates (to a point where they're decent), not trying any different builds, not making any guides (on powerleveling, farming, hardcore etc), not trying to be part of a community around the game (he almost never posted here on DFans), not posting any actual decent content really (unlike people such as you, Jaetch, ProzaicMuze, Archon).
He couldn't even stick around the game for a couple months to see what changes would be made, didn't try the game after some major patches. To me it's pretty clear he's just another one of those who just jumped into the "Diablo fan" bandwagon.
Did the AH have a bad effect to the game? Absolutely, I've been posting that would happen since the D3 beta. But you can't blame it when people have their own personal "gamer issues". Doubt me? Am I crazy? Check his "healthy gamer" channel, and pretty much all his "let's play" series and everything he's hyped so far (SC2, HotS, SWToR, GW2, Dark Souls, etc). To me it's a personality thing, hardly related to any game feature.
Just needed to get that off my chest. We have enough "urban myths" surrounding D3 as is already, I don't think we need more (specially not ones that involve "famous" youtubers or streamers).
