Auction House Testing
Blizzard is working hard on getting their Auction House working. Starting now, they will be stress testing their AH's every day this week to test them for peak performance.

We’ll be placing extra strain on the beta auction house every day this week from 10:00 a.m. PST until approximately 12:00 p.m. PST, to put the system through its paces. During this time there may be interruptions or loss in an ability to use the auction house. We’ll provide updates if there’s any extended downtime experienced or expected.

Happy Valentine's Day from Blizzard
Even the demons of Hell can warm up on this day of love.

I wonder how they plan to stress test the AH.  Are they testing their 'Auto-Profit' AH bot?

I think it actually says they are doing maintenance once, and stressing it every day this week, not just once a week.

The Valentines are pretty funny. My only wish is that there had been an Auriel/Mephisto for the laughs.

And ScyberDragon, there's a certain word that needs correction. Don't make me haunt you. ;)

Indeed they are. Let's hope all goes well in fixing some of the more persistent bugs, while they've got the stress test going.

You're definitely not the only one ;) Its rather sad how people rage about the game being delayed everytime Blizzard posts something that is not the release date.

Just read the comment below... and lose your my faith in humanity <_<

As i just wrote and you deleted on your facebook diablo 3 page: Stop making childish picture and wallpaper, noone cares about them ffs, WE DON T WANT ART WE WANT A VIDEO GAME, your picture and wallpaper give us NO FUN. Now be grown ups and go make overtime like real ppl do in real life to get your dam game out cuz you're way behind schedual. When ppl have lots of work on their arms they work harder, you obiously stop working and start going childish. Thank you very much for listening and not deleting like a child closing his door to his parents. I can't beleive Blizzard is still ignoring their long time hardly earned fan. I can beleive WE have to write all those topics and stuff. We made you, we supported you, now deliver plz.
Clearly other people do care, so don't claim everyone shares your point of view. It's -- dare I say -- a childish argument.
I also want to point out that, in the grown-up world, companies have many different positions spanning many different departments. No matter how badly you want the game, I'm sorry, we'll still have artists, a web team, a community team, etc. staffed with folks who ARE NOT game developers, producers, or programmers.
That said, and to take your feedback to heart, I'll continue doing my job by posting media updates on Facebook and Twitter. [/blizzquote]

Wait, we had faith in humanity?

On a more serious note, I heartily with you and Snaks42. People like that person you quoted need to stop living in their bubble and acknowledge that there's such a thing as reality and, guess what, it's not always your buddy.

Nitpicking, but thats not really what they said. Rather: "We’ll be placing extra strain on the beta auction house every day this week from 10:00 a.m. PST until approximately 12:00 p.m. PST, to put the system through its paces."

How does this whole "get a month free premium curse account" work? I've tried subscribing through the link, but it just says "thanks for subscribing". It doesn't ask for my email, I wasn't even signed into my account when I did it, etc. and I haven't gotten any "welcome to the newsletter" email afterwards.

So can someone explain how it works and how I actually get subscribed?

"every day this week" does not mean once a week.

The RMAH will be stressed this week.

yep it is good news, mots of the people only see a release date or confirmations on certain things as good news

little things like this is good news, just like the 100k beta invites, people crying over NA only, wen most of us saw "woot blizz are doing end production testing"

kids

If the Auction House just stopped working, that would be just fine. Bunch'a blizzard fuck-ups down there in Irvine.
