Hi folks, I've decided to re-visit the original Diablo over the next couple of days. I'll be starting from scratch - does anyone else play?

I'm pretty sure it's open source now and can be downloaded a number of places free of charge and 100% legally (maybe wrong) but at least it certianly never asks for CD keys etc.

I'm revisiting Diablo I ATM because I feel being older than I was when I first took it on I can appreciate the adult bits a hell of a lot more. So, if anyone else would like to play (regardless of Time Zone because where there's a will, there's a way) then let me know.

i found my CD and it works fine on vista.

but my cd drive makes a loud noise, anyway blizzard provides a no-cd patch to play it? and bnet wont work for me

nvm got it working. but damn...the map sucks for the game and the difficulty is like 10x lol

It is hard, but I always find a tad rewarding too.

yeah, the last time i played diablo i was young and someone hacked a bunch of items so everything died in like 1 hit.

this time i had an epic fight with leoric and he ended up killing me after like a 10 minute fight lol.

Well that's D1 completed (again)...
