Speaking of dreams, I haven't dreamed of anything I can remember at all the last couple of months. That's rather weird for me.
However guessing that I wake up unusually happy/stressed on some days, I suppose I must be dreaming of something.

When we install the game on Day1 will we have to download patches and stuff too?
Like 16 patches ?

You've come to the right place to ask these questions, friend.

Well, Bashiok confirmed on his twitter that there won't be any patches for the first year of D3 because the game was built around a very solid beta testing and that he likes noodles.
Fans will have to pay for any patches during the first year, the only exception being any patch to fix a game-breaking mechanic.

there will be a patch on day of release, there has to be, because what is the point of still having the beta live

they are not gona starting making the discs the day before release

infact they made a bunch of discs months ago, those discs have content on it that has been since removed, like companions and pvp


so yes there will be a patch on may 15th, it will be around 700mb -1.2Gb

there has to be a patch bud, also they never charge for patches

there wont be any content patches, just expansions

WoW has content patches cos it has a monthly sub and needs to keep player paying everymonth, D3 isnt like that

you wont be charged for anything, unless you want to buy somthing form the blizzard shop, RMAH or an diablo 3 expansion

the expansion will prob be out a year after D3 is out ( dont take my word on that)

Seriously, though since I have been playing the beta, the base application checks for updates every time I log in. I imagine Blizzard will to use this not only for patches but also to tweek the game as time passes. That's pretty much what I have experienced so far.

I wouldn't think 16 patches though, they'll roll it up into one patch on release day.

Yea i think so too,can't really remember what the deal was with Sc2 i think it had a pretty big patch right after the installation.

maybea couple of mini patches, cos im sure blizz will tweak stuff if they see stuff they dont like when its live

and of course the pvp patch, maybe 3 months after d3 is out
