I need a helpdesk manager here in Vegas who will close tickets and turn our ailing helpdesk around. $40/K to $50/K Plus I need two entry to mid-level helpdesk tech's at $13/per hour to $15 per hour. I know I'm batting against the odds here to find that, venting mostly really out of frustration.   I'm serious though, if anyone knows someone who''s all that and a bag of chips, I'll hire them on the spot.

Computer helpdesk, basically internal tech support department for a company.

Wait... so like the people that tell me to restart my computer when I call my internet company? Or ask me to make sure it's plugged in? Because those people could be replaced with chimps.

Yeah but when it's internal, they have specific knowledge about the companies applications and are generally better than the chimps you get for tech support at an internet company. The department runs off a ticketing system, and they need to close so many tickets a day etc. That's not happening in my helpdesk department because the manager isn't taking ownership of the department, he's really let me down.

That sucks. It's Vegas though, pretty populated city, shouldn't be TOO hard to find someone.

You know what I've noticed....Managers on average, are idiots. Working at Universal is my first real experience with the stereotypical manager assigned to managing large groups of people in a company. Holy shit they're stupid. Thank god I'm an artist. I can't handle those people for much longer. CALL ME BLIZZ!

Yeah managers are often idiots, I look forward to going back to being a nerd again after I get done with this management position I've been kicked upstairs into. 2 maybe 3 more years and then I'm done with it.


BTW Tralari, you know after you reach 100 posts you belong to us and can never leave. Kind of like the coffee house you can never escape from.
