We are proud to announce that we have THREE (3) CONTESTS to giveaway BlizzCon 2009 tickets! Blizzard was kind enough to provide us with these tickets, so we've created these different contests to ensure that everybody here on Diablofans.com has a chance at winning a ticket to BlizzCon this year! The contests are as follows:

Class Art Contest:
Have you ever wanted to design your own original character class? Well here's your chance! All you need to submit is the name of your own favorite imaginary class along with a newly created artistic design of the class created by yourself.

Class Lore Contest:
Have you ever wanted to write your own background story for a new character class? Well here's your chance! All you need to do is submit a story between 600 and 1000 words in length created by yourself along with the name of your class. Think of the character histories on the Diablo 3 site. Provide as many details as possible.

Class Skills Contest:
Have you ever wanted to design the skill trees and play style of your very own character? Well here's your chance! All you need to do is submit a list of the THREE skill trees your class would have, describe the play style of your class and the name of your class. Provide as many details as possible.

All entries MUST be created by you and specially for the contest. Judging will not only be based on skill, but originality as well so don't be discouraged if you aren't the most amazing artist or writer in the world. The contest will be judged by the Admins and Moderators of Diablofans.com.

Deadline:

• All entries must be posted no later than 11:59 PM PST on Monday, June 8th, 2009.

Prizes:

• The winners of each contest will receive one general admission pass to BlizzCon 2009! (Winner is responsible for own travel & hotel arrangements to BlizzCon). For more information about BlizzCon, please visit www.blizzcon.com
  
• One runner-up in each contest will receive a Diablofans.com t-shirt.

Been good. Mostly, just draw what you think would be a fun class. Or you could PM me with a class idea and I'll let you know how well I think it'd work in the game. I don't think that's against the rules. :confused:

Franchise coherence is important, but remember so is technical skill and originality. :D

I would've loved to do something for the class art contest, but the traveling expenses are far too high for me, so it'll be kind of pointless to participate. But good luck to those of you who do! I look forward to seeing the entries.

That's correct Jetrall. Even if Yngvar won first place in the contest, he could offer to give the prize to the second place winner and take the t-shirt instead. Same goes for anybody entering the contest! :)

I think it's safe to say you'll see more Diablo art from me, but probably not for this contest. It's got kind of a short deadline, and my summer vacation just started, which means I've switched over to lazy-mode. :]
