That is a 3-D model. Z-Brush is an awesome program that allows you to sculpt and texture 3-D models by "painting" on them.

The Summoner.
Basically he summons demons and has his own class of destructive spells. Could be a replacement for the Necromancer but even with the Necromancer and the Witch Doctor it would be cool to have another PC with an army of minions. Especially for pvp.

He's a bad guy turned good. Formerly a servant of Baal, Summoners were used to bring demons into Sanctuary. When Baal's and Diablo's hold on our plane was weakened they realized their folly and broke free. Now they use their powers for personal gain.

Ranger: This classes is similar to Amazon class in Diablo2. So I thought that it was the best choice to reminisce and replace the Amazon. Again, my goal here was to create a character class that would be believable in Diablo universe.

The Ranger's magical eye allows him/her to see enemies from far away, capable of taking out an enemy silently. It also allows the wearer to manipulate a enchanted arrow, allowing it to hit enemies weak points precisely.

Eidolon: This class is a summoning class that is capable of calling variety of dark guardians such as Apparitions, Spirits, Poltergeist, and Undead. These powerful guardians always stand by their master acting as both defensive and offensive weapons. These guardians were once great kings and lords of the past whom have been cursed by Mephisto. It is said that by following the Eidolon, they will be freed in the end.

there's some in here that are just such gorgeous pictures, and a couple others that are such cool ideas.
would be terrible to pick..they shoulda given diablofans more tickets to distribute than other places -_-

my favorite concept (hands down) is jig's.. the one i'd most like to play is jig's or zerowyn/scarcokes nomad
tuk your ifrit pic reminds me too much of a genie :P but love the concept of it..like the idea of a class all about fire, both spells and melee (esp since there's gonna be no immunes in d3)

love wonderboy2's redeemer not even sure why i like it so much.. i think it reminds me of something i liked as a kid. (maybe the robot from return to oz) it's also great in the details.
vadoff yours scares me >< the eye :P the skin looks so real too.
romak love the way the ball and chain looks like it's moving great concept too.
don't like the conjurer or exorcist classes but i think i just realized i mostly only like the char classes when they picture girls ><
the pictures are still really cool (love the colors in the exorcist esp)
the gypsy is aswesome pic and concept (that's another i wouldn't mind playing) -the udated version is amazing also might be my new favorite overall picture
wenarts and calebs are insane and so cool. i can't ever imagine them making those characters but i'd love to see them as mobs. they'd be terrifying.

details on gaia's are great. i don't like the bronze statue effect much, but still nice pictures..they look so 3d.

greatfox's blade has to be just about the most intimidating char i've ever seen. (awesome picture only wish he had a background)

starlyght can almost imagine a class like that in d3 (like the position too)
odon summoner picture is completely awesome love his staff/axe thing esp and his hand (you're so good at hands)
bloodscream like your demon hunter (reminds me of hellboy :P and also a hellgate class that never came to fruition)
killdiablo'smom i like your picture a lot really like the contrast in it.. looks a bit like the nomad ones too with sword and bow
and umpa i like yours a lot i see what yo umean about the detail.. i even like how it's disproportionate, it adds to the style.

The engine

Rogue type class that would be a western, native warrior. He would mostly be ranged utilizing tomahawks and bows. Maybe spears too.

Obviously inspired by warriors of western cultures.Anywhere from mayans to indians...

I was trying to think of a good culture that has been rarely used for classes and I thought about all the western stuff. I want to go further into this in the future, maybe a more stylized mayan figure or something...

The only place that this has been really used is the taurens in wow. I figured Diablo needs their Indians too right?

I think he fits in quite nicely with the D3 style..


This was my first time using photoshop lol
I was super rushed at the end. The waist down was done in like 10 minutes lol...

OH and I know the proportions are wrong. Ive seen people mess with them and manipulate them on photoshop and I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out but I never could so I left him a little off lol

well I have good Idea's I already wrote something if you could do a mixt of barbarian and priest wearing a cape using mace sword or hammer kinda poor looking too I would have the right story fo rhim if not send me what's you got and I will do a back ground story on him

I really like your style. Something very German from the 20's about it, like a mix between Nosferatu and drawings by Egon Schiele...although I liked the colors of the 1st one better.
