I really love the artworks for D3 so far, especially New Tristram, glad they brought the infamous ravens back.
Oh and that church simply looks... Terrifying. :O

Maybe they have. Maybe we just haven't seen it yet.
I will admit that the first thing I thought when I saw the concept art on the site was "why doesn't the game look this awesome?"

The text in the picture says : "Sooo Faded ..." (or 5000, but there are definitely three dots there).
And maybe the girl in the background will play an important roll in the storyline?
Nice artwork btw, and I don't understand what everyone is crying about, that the style is not too dark, and that it's too WoW'ish, but I know that when the game comes out, you'll all love it and play it 24/7 just as Diablo II.

Ant yeah - with better textures those artworks could be better translated into 3d world.
I simply adore the Tristram Church art... I wish this mood and style would be more apparent in the actual gameplay teaser - I didn't know it was Tristram Church until I checked diablo3.com
