Kazo has been awesome taking notes on his own and has dispatched a few screenshots and info from the gameplay video.

Kazo: "I watched the gameplay video again and took some pictures from moments when the items and skill descriptions are visible. Some new type of items that dropped from Diablo3 monsters in the video:

- Minor Lethality Rune
- Minor Power Rune
- Ancient Medallion
- Minor Energy Rune
- Chipped Star Topaz - New "star" variant
- Elixir of Vitality I
- Elixir of Willpower I

INVENTORY
Blizzard said they have plans for making the inventory much better.
In the video we can see room for 30 items. It seems each item will have it's own reserved space with no size variations, similar to the bag system of World of Warcraft. The Barbarian, however, has only 12 item spaces "active" or "available", other 18 being "grayed out". This means characters in D3 will be able to carry variable sizes of bags. If you look at the bottom of the inventory space, there are 4 grayed out slots for bags, similar to World of Warcraft. The icon for these bags is the same as the main inventory screen icon.

SCREENSHOTS
- Battlecry
- Furious Charge
- Hammer of the Ancients
- Horrify
- Items 1
- Items 2
- UI Skills
- Wall of Zombies
- Whirlwind

This bit worries me, i don't want a bag system like WoW for a Diablo game, it makes it look and feel too much like WoW.  But if it has to be then i it has to be.

The grayed out bags reminded me of WoW instantly, and gave me a :( face

Need more originality for the inventory

But looks good, thanks for the info MD

Well if we want to have even more variety in items the old system simply won't do the job. I never played wow myself but if the bag system has proven itself there, why not use it?

The inv is much better with a one slot item. More stuff can be held and it is much more logical. Notice that the item prices are still the same as D2 and LOD I like that. But will the cash be actually worth something? The answer is proooooobably not, but we will see.

MD would you assume the game will come out in the next 6 months or year?

I think it would be a shame to use the WoW inventory.
In Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 it was very cool that you could see the entire item change shape if they were certain unique types. Besides that, i like to look at a item and actually see a complete item, not just a cropped version of it.

I've been playing Diablo for a long, long time now, and one of the things that always bugged me was the constant ports to town to unload loot.  I do feel that this system was needed to keep the action going without constant interruptions.

That being said I actually like the bag system in WoW and I don't feel that having that system will really distract from the feeling that I'm playing diablo3 at all.

The WoW inventory system IMO is just fine, this will be good for Diablo, more items for MF/storing!

FTW! I am glad they are doing this, Item collection is a very fun part of Diablo, and in D3 we shouldn't need multiple characters just to act as Mules :P

I remember having 2 or 3 mule characters full of items because of MF runs all day w/ My Sorc, I wish we could store them all on one person!? I mean we should be able to pay IN GAME GOLD to get more storage eh?  At high levels storage should be close to unlimited IMO, if you pay in game gold for it :D

don't know why everyone is bashing stuff if it comes from wow. There are some pretty nice things in wow, which I hope will make it's way into diablo3. Also think about this...if they didn't make wow first, then they wouldn't have the knowledge they have now for when they release D3...so basically learn from their mistakes.

items being only one slot right now is fine with me, means you get to do more runs without having to mule it out. so in that sence I don't mind. offcourse it was nice to throw stuff around in your inventory just so you could pick up that 1 thing...but meh, things change, and I for one like it.

And think, all that space required to have those mules.. Boggs the server down. It is a great addition!

Nice job :) Well, i think i prefered this solution from Diablo, but i think it's just a habit. I will get used to new "bag" :) But one thing is worrying me. This Demo was when the character just started? Coz i saw there is a maul which has more than 100 damages. I rememeber that in Diablo 2 in the beggining when you found sth more than 30 you were happy as hell :D After for example 5h playing, i wouldn't like to see maul which has 500 damages.

Anyway, i want to play it!!!

He said he had rigged the game to show off features. I hope that is part of it as well.

I'm pretty sure all the gear that he had was NOT for low levels... They were example items so that they could bash in baddies easily for the demo.

Not items you would find in the first Act, unless I am wrong... but imo they were items much higher level then the character should be at the start of the game.

yes - for sure same size for Sword and a potion is little unconvincing.
I prefer much D2 inventory look and feel - it give much fun trought the gameplay.
Also - where is SOCKETS inside items ?!
i wana them back - this is one of the most important differences about Diablo and other games.
if there is no sockert, so there is no runewords - imao ....... no no ... do not kill this part of diablo ... i so love this part of the game !

Sonic where are you from?

And I also love runewords, new runewords would be awesome, especially if they ALTERED the appearance of items along with stats.

There's really nothing wrong with the WoW inventory applied in D3. It's a necessary improvement IMO.

I also saw a "Small Bag" drop which didn't make it to this list. I guess you need bags for more space just like WoW too.
