Thank you so much for featuring my build. I appreciate it much more then I can say. I look forward to continuing refining the build and will be posting an update to it in the next week or so. Plan is to get it adjusted just right in anticipation of season 11.

The second one is no longer viable and that is why it has been voted into the ground practically. As for the first and third I noticed that as well.

1 and 3 are exactly the same, only difference is one is using unity and the other is using wisdom of kalan. Not sure if I'd call 1 item a different build.

Two very similar and one worthless exploit build (that has been fixed already). I'm guessing these are auto generated and not reviewed by a person prior to posting?

The build at least is not auto generated. Mine that is. I crafted it myself at the tail end of the beta.

I also have played closed beta and many of those builds are very similar indeed. However, The Pale Rider build by far is up-to-date and viable with wiggle room for improvements according to group or solo play. It compares in no way to 1-6. I personally have witnessed first hand this build's devastating power and potential. CorpseMancer came out after this build was pieced together by Cornell from Mid-life Crits who went through pain staking testing and grinding to piece it together. I commend his efforts and will add it to my list of awesome and amazing builds and look forward to more of Mid-Life Crits content and live streams he holds regularly on youtube. The reason for the offset of using 1h compared to 2h is to focus on attack speed which will increase your procs. So while the individual hits are smaller when stacked in quicker succession compared to a 2h weapon the dmg can equate or at least keep up with the performance. As to why I was in the top 7. If you look at the information for this post this reflects the very first week of the Necro release as I was the very first necro build posted to the site I was in the top seven list the entire week so given the scope that this post is looking at it is accurate. Now I agree you should play your own way and I appreciate you saying that. Also as an update on this build I plan on changing the posted build both on the site and with a new video to reflect the changes I have made. Last night my build cleared an 80 with sub optimal gear (only 3 ancients) also under 700 para on PC so when optimized and sporting more ancients and primal ancients this build will perform at a much higher rate. I thank Bael for stepping up and speaking on behalf of myself and the build I am still working daily to refine.

The faster you swing the more your gems proc.

i'm awaiting for the season to start to star my necro, dont love the fact that we have tons and tons of legendary we can just give to the character, that kill the mood...

anyway.. i hope to see a real pet build who will be good, i dont want my necro to become a fucking bone mage

Pestilence set is very underpowered. It does need a great buff.

You'd think someone would at least click the links before putting them on the list. One has not been functional for weeks. Just don't understand why they just copypasted 7 builds without even glancing at them. Not very helpful

"GR 68 farm" in the "top builds" - that happen when you just sort the builds by votes, without actually looking/reading them. There are several under-10-votes-builds performing extremely well, btw.

Its because there aren't actually very many viable necro builds at all, so they're desperate.

Basically if you aren't playing bone storm scythe you're fucked right now, sadly.

As I have stated in a previous comment I have not updated the build since I established it in the closing days of the beta. I have full plans to update this build and the video with my refinement and findings as I've been working with it daily through live stream. You are welcome to stop by and add your voice to the theorycrafting that I encourage in my chat. This build does perform extremely well and actually performs much better with the tweaks I have made to it in the past week. So look forward to the update and thank you.
