Top 5 Crusader Builds for Season 9
Finishing up our series for the top 5 builds of each class is the Crusader. While the class received several changes in 2.4.3, the most significant one was the addition of an affix to Faithful Memory which buffed the Blessed Hammer skill, giving the class a different build to top the Crusader leaderboards.
1. Holy Hammer Jammers Build GR+105
Rocking the new Faithful Memory, the Blessed Hammer Crusader starts out the list. Managing to overtake Season 8’s Legacy of Nightmares Bombardment/Thorns Crusader for the best Crusader build, players can choose this build to claim their spot on the leaderboards.
2. Bombardment Build GR+101
Coming up next is Season 8’s (and the 3 seasons previous that) Legacy of Nightmares Bombardment/Thorns Crusader. While it no longer holds the number 1 spot for pushing the solo leaderboards, the build itself is still fairly competitive and can be used as an alternative for players that want to run it.
3. Best Rift T13 Crusader Speed Farm Build - TRIUMVIRATE - 2.43
While LoN Crusader transitions very well into the Crusader’s speed build, a player needing Death's Breaths can choose to run this build to get them. Running Sages, you will get an extra Death's Breath from every elite pack and guardian.
4. 2.4.3 Support Sader (Damage Buffer)
Coming up in number 4 is the Support Crusader. If you have a group of friends and want to stick to the Crusader class, you can try to run this build in a 3 zdps 1 lightning wiz, or the regular comp with a zCrusader instead of a zBarb. (For those unfamiliar, z = zero. zClass is used because you do no damage and are just there to aid your DPSers.)
5. Crusader Best Speed Farming Build
We’ll finish the list with another speed farming build. Those who don't want to gear for the LoN Crusader speed variant can instead opt for this build originating from patch 2.4.2. While LoN Sader is definitely the fastest sader build, it’s really hard to gear for, and this build can serve as an alternative until you get those LoN pieces.
This concludes the top 5 builds for Crusaders, as well as our top 5 series for all the classes. There are many more builds out there for the Crusader, and if you haven’t taken the time, I suggest browsing the rest of the Crusader builds here. As always, feel free to leave comments below!
another new no content season ?
Good thing Legacy league in POE is out and ME:A will be out by S10 starts, gon be a wasteland.
so is this one going on console?
Nice! So pumped for the new season, like always Journey is fun!
"I remain at my statement that Legal Cheat in Diablo 3 is to play in group, level higher gems/paragon and then push solo leaderboards. That is so pathetic to be allowed something like this."
LOL wat? Just about EVERY game on the market now that includes multiplayer awards bonuses for playing in groups of some sort. Yes guys its cheating to play together apparently...
I enjoy the idea of doing the season journey, but I've done this season journey like 5 times now (with a few parts swapped about each time but basically all the same requirements each time.)
QoL changes are very nice but there's not much point when there's no reason to actually play to make use of them.
Being better rewarded for multiplayer is natural, yes, but the sheer scale of the reward in D3 is obnoxiously bad. Groups getting a say 20% advantage is fine. Groups getting a 500%+ advantage is stupid. Not to mention all the speed run nephelem rifts (which haven't had a qol update for about a year despite constant GR improvements) all require you to teleport into a loading screen at the end, which can be skipped via a party member leaving early but not solo.
There are a couple of set changes but the WD changes are so tone deaf it hurts. HT was already locked into only being able to play garg, now they buff Zuni to play a less fun version of the same thing instead. Even if you only have 2 devs and can only afford to tweak numbers, those are not the ones to change! Changing HT or Zuni set numbers don't mean anything until you change frost garg (or the ring but that won't add varied gameplay which is what they say they want.)
What about bringing some new information about Necromancer and maybe introduce sets or something...
