Specifically, the PTR Feedback forum will be going offline on Friday, July 22 at 5 p.m. PDT. Meanwhile, the PTR Bug Report forum will remain open for now; we'll let you know as we approach the end of the PTR about its close date.
We truly appreciate the testing, feedback, and bug reports we've received from dedicated testers during this time. We're looking forward to sharing 2.4.2 with everyone, and can't wait to join you in a few weeks for Season 7.
Thank you for all your testing efforts, and we'll see you in Sanctuary!
Helltooth Garg WD 2.4.2 Insane DPS
Anthony Evans uploaded a video guide of an insane WD build for Patch 2.4.2, capable of doing damage in the trillions. It uses the Helltooth set along with Gargantuan, and is capable of solo clearing GRs of 95 and above. Check it out!
Wd = again gargs
Monk = again generator
Crusader = again lon bomb
Dh = again lon fok

I spent this past season as LoN Blessed Shield. Was it top-tier? No. Did I make it to GR70 Solo? Yes. Might have made it further with a bit more optimization, but I had fun with it. This coming season, I plan to try out Roland's Shield Bash/Glare, and see how that handles.
If you want variety I suggest you take a look at Titan Quest. A big patch is coming, complete rework of the game by a bunch of devs that bought the license. The game will essentially be reborn.
D3 is just a glorified monster slaying simulator, it's actually the least "arpg-ish" of all ARPGs. That being said, the combat is really top notch, but that's about the only thing it has going for it.
As I said, I highly suggest you go look into Titan Quest, which in my opinion is the best ARPG available. It doesn't have the same smoothness as D3 for the combat, but it's still far superior. Wait for the current beta of the rework to end and play it. You can get the gold edition for peanuts during a sale, usually 75% off. There are tons of builds available. Obviously, since ARPGs are just maths, there will always be one build above the others, but in this game you can also tank, heal, etc... Playing in a party feels really nice. Although you have to play with friends because there's no "always online" drm, which means everybody can cheat. You host, your friend joins.
I always love these crazy damage build videos. They're always, "you can do crazy trillion amounts of damage! All you need is a full set of expertly rolled ancient items and thousands of paragon levels."
Seeing this vid makes me question why the DH marauders/shadows mantle combos were too powerful and Blizz had to nerf them? At least with this OP build the player doesn't have to target walls while others watch.
I remember the reason ive quit 5th season. It was because of Jade nerf. I didnt really understand why ,but we where able to play Jade equal to other WD builds on PTR ,and they killed Jade right before the patch came out. After this action ,every single WD played stupid garg.
