I must say i am still very new to Archon FB build and have a lot of questions myself. I am dying a lot right now in 75. It's incredibly hard to survive, like in AW meteor days. Need to get used to the build.

I did a few tests and looks like Archon Blast is NOT same as Explosive blast, so it gives no damage reduction. Really sad.

So if i understand correctly

while not in archon form i need

1) to move on feet and not teleport

2) go inside a pack of mobs and cast explosive blast / arcane torrent to proc APDs.

3) try to maintain 4 stacks of orb of infinite depth and stay alive

3) get 20 stacks on chantodo

4) go to archon form

5) ignore WHITES and try to ignite at least 1 elite.

6) use arcane blast / arcane strike and disintergration wave for ranged elites

7) then i can kill whites as well

By killing mobs in archon form i get archon stacks

when i get out of archon form, the stacks still remain and start to expire.

so i need to get back to archon form again BEFORE these stacks expire, so i can ANOTHER stacks. So this is double stacking. And this is where most damage comes from

question is. Should i ever use LEFT MOUSE BUTTON and cast arcane strike? Or should i just spam arcane blast and do disintegrate ?

On video he says arcane strike has 11% more damage, but radius is too low.

If only firebirds had a gg standalone build...but its another hybrid it seems

I feel like there are better firebird archon T10 speed builds in the Builds section than this one. Why would you pick a not-archon spell that isn't fire giving you no way to stack FB when stuck out of Archon (which does happen because maps are garbage) and worry about a survivability setup over simply using Goldwrap?

@lxxcurse No, the way Chantodo interacts with your FireBird set is based on your highest elemental damage as your default elemental damage, so the ideal is 20% fire skill damage increase and 19% archon skill damage increase, for both bracer and amulet, the reason having a non-fire archon rune allows you to have better mobility as FireBird Archon(remember you can only have one rune instead of Vry's all runes during archon mode), you can use "improved Archon" for more damage but you'll be walking instead of teleporting, thus makes this rune the best choise for both T10 and higher GR push.

Sorry didnt catch your first question correctly. Flame Ward is for more defensive play, whereas Static Charge has better chance to proc your Obsidian ring of the Zodiac due to its better attack coverage(projectiles for more mobs' hits). It's your personal preference for that rune, for T10 Flame Ward "might" have slightly better damage in human form but all your damage comes from your Archon form anyway. So pick Flam Ward if you're struggled with survival in human form but always recommend of using static charge for better CDR of Archon. Hope this explanation clarifies a bit.
