Blue Post Round-Up - Scythe Transmog, Ban Waves, Removed Wings & Era 5

Nevalistis replied to quite a few threads clarifying a few interesting subjects. She explained that the new Scythe transmog can be used by any classes who can use staves, why some datamined wings were removed and the possibility of them returning, ban waves and the era 5 ending. Read below.

The short version is that the end of Era 5 is working differently for this Season. The error in the blog was my bad, and has been corrected. Apologies for missing the update on that information.

The blog now reads:

The non-Seasonal Greater Rift Leaderboards will also be wiped sometime after the end of the Season. However, you'll immediately be able to compete in the currently active Era with your non-Seasonal heroes (including those who have just rolled over), and will not have to wait for the start of the next Season.

I've just posted the details regarding the end of Era 5 as well. Be sure to check those out if you haven't looked over them already. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

D3 dev. team took them out but I'm asking that they put them back in please & thank you!

Some, but not all, wings were removed from the 2.4.1 PTR. Both the Cosmic Wings and the Falcon's Wings are still able to be obtained in 2.4.1.

While the other wings were removed for the time being and will not be appearing in the 2.4.1 patch, it's always possible we'll add more cosmetic items in the future.

Are the new wings seasonal exclusives or are they obtainable gamewide ?

All the new cosmetics as mentioned in the blog are not tied to Seasons. However, they do only drop in Adventure Mode, so keep that in mind when you're looking for them!
As with past seasons, there are also some seasonal cosmetics coming in 2.4.1, obtainable through the Season Journey. We'll go over those in an upcoming blog! (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

I've seen the new scythe staff skin which comes with 2.4.1 and I love it. Which classes can make use of the transmog?

Any class that can use staves can equip the new Scythe transmog. That would be the Monk, Witch Doctor, and Wizard. You can view what classes can equip which items on this page in our Game Guide.
There's quite a lot of different new transmog items coming in 2.4.1, so while the Barbarian, Crusader, and Demon Hunter won't be able to use this option, they'll have a lot of other nifty new visuals to choose from! (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Why not remove the partial records?
The whole run and record is false, as it benefited from bot or bots.
Would be only right to have only full party in recorded history.
Leaving 1 guy in 4man leaderboard just doesn't look good.
Just my 2'cents....
Other than that, good job Blizz.

Overall, the Diablo community is filled with honest and dedicated players. For those that suddenly experienced their teammates disappearing, it's already a sobering situation to realize a friend or clan mate you trusted wasn't playing fair.

That said, this is the first time we’ve used this particular approach. We’re constantly monitoring the results of our account actions to ensure that the process remains effective as both punishment and a deterrent for behavior that is against our Terms of Use. We may change our methods in the future. The bottom line is that if you Play Nice, Play Fair, you won’t ever need to worry about the status of your account or your leader board records. :) (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
