I mean druids are needed but this looks like crusader, why not both?

Am i the only one thinking that it looks like an Assassin from Assassins Creed?

Cleric:

Mainstat: int

combat setup: 1h+offhand or 2h

Weapons&offhands: 1h mace, 2h maces, tome (offhand), shield (offhand) prayer beads (weapon), staves

Class specific armor:

Skill ideas:

Convert: cause an enemy to fight for you for a short duration (becomes an ally= able to be attacked by monsters, but also benefits from buffs and group heals), after the conversion wears of the monster gets enraged and gets 15% dmg and attackspeed for 5sec, cannot be converted during this. Bosses/Rift Guardians instead get 20% dmg taken during convert and dont switch sides, they do not get enraged either.

Prayers: similar to laws, you can only have 1 on your bar at the time, but the activated part requires you to stand still (channeling ability). Types: haste (attack and movement), regen (flat regen or generating globes), defensive (flat dmg reduction, armor or resist, based on rune), damage (element based on rune). Channeling greatly increases the passive effect but you can't perform other actions during it.

Display relic: party buff/area debuff, effect based on rune.

At this point I'd rather see some natural magic. We have arcane, holy, and dark, I'd like something Druid-esque, not necessarily having to be a clone of the Druid like crusader is a clone of the paladin.

Never played a wizard in D3 but by god when ever i face a Li-Ming in Hots i just sigh and sigh and sigh,the over powered bit.....

Gimme Sceptic who uses Reason, maybe? I kno catholic universe is quite potent, but cmon.

What do you think such a class could have to differentiate them from Crusaders?

It'd need to be a necromancer.

I personally think cleric would be a good idea but instead of any offensive abilities I think they should be all support with healing abilities, group buffs, and personal buffs, maybe a channeled pull kind of like the black hole ability from wizard but it's channeled and can be placed in a selected location instead of like the monk that pulls to him. this pull can make enemies take increased damage or just decrease the movement speed for a short duration. the main stat should be intellect, and for a generator they can have a prayer being channeled that increases damage taken or done or something by the party and restores mana. This kind of support doesn't take damage but instead supports from a distance unlike EVERY other support that is out there.

I like the idea of a new character, but I preferred it to be a pirate. ghost ships emerging from the ground and shooting in hordes and the loud revolver shots and a sword in offhand

the wizard she so sexy almost sexier than jaina key word almost.
