Possible Changes to Taeguk
Wyatt Cheng commented on a thread about Taeguk, on how it had a specific design goal when created but is being used instead for a number of builds where it doesn't fit very well, gameplay wise. Read his post below for more info.

Is it game breaking? no just really annoying losing 84 stacks which takes almost a full minute to restack is super depressing. Now I think what a good option for this would be if you miss the timer that you lose half your stacks and continues to half until under ten which than it drops entirely. But honestly I think the game is in a pretty good state vs when it was first released and am happy with how well its turning out. Sure there are issues but I still enjoy playing.Taeguk feels too necessary for a number of builds that it doesn’t fit well into. Every gem should have a specific use. Zei’s Stone of Vengeance is an example of a gem we think works well: it’s used by people who want a ranged playstyle, and it’s not used by people who fight close. Taeguk was intended to be a gem that was great for players who used movement-based channeled skills like Strafe or Whirlwind. It feels bad shooting Multishot into thin air to keep Taeguk stacks up, and we want to look at some changes that would give players other options. We want to avoid changes to Taeguk that would further cement Taeguk as a gem that is strong regardless of playstyle. We’re still working out the best way to address this, but if we change Taeguk to adjust it more for channeled skills then we would certainly provide other comparable alternatives, probably in the form of buffs to some other legendary gems.
5 Ways to Improve D3
Rhykker published a video sharing what he thinks are 5 simple things that would greatly improve Diablo 3. It mentions suggestions that we already highlighted, like Monstrous' Armor Rack, and a few other interesting ideas. What do you think of these? Do you like them? What other changes would you add to that list?
i would love to see that armor rack in the game will save heaps of time swaping builds & all the other things he said would also be great
What they said above about Taeguk is so true for me! It feels like a death in hardcore everytime I lose my stacks! Very depressing!
Since I'm a genius I'm going to fix Taeguk right here and right now:
- Taeguk now only works on channeled skills, and its buff duration has been increased to 20 seconds.
"I'm so good, I astound myself!"
If losing a stack feels like HC death, that says more about HC than Taeguk. :/

That's not a macro. You can set that up yourself within the options. Just bind force move to mouse scroll up and down.
Key bindings, you set your Force move to the mouse wheel up/down, very simple, not a macro, make sure you research what your talking about before trying to blast someone.
Love the video suggestions, and I agree this botting issue has gotten way out of control. There really is no point trying to compete over leader boards when you have people that have been botting since the season started and are over paragon 2500 now. It's totally obvious who they are and what they are doing. Do some simple math from the time the season started to now and look at the number of hours they have played per day....not possible for a human without a Bot.
I accept my fate of getting REKT on the forums, and I apologize. In all my time of play, I had no idea force move existed; at least now I know, and knowing's half the battle Kappa
Bind force move to mousewheel. Scroll up and down?

With the GR65 speed running wizard build I made I have no problems keeping Taeguk up.
Simply make the buff decrease stacks over time.
Blizz needs hand held for more specifics? Okay,
- Reduce buff from 0.5% to 0.1%, increase cap by 5x
- Adding a stack does NOT refresh buff duration, only adds a stack
- Buff stack falls faster than tick/3sec, probably tick/second
- Again, buff expiration (happening EVERY second) does not kill buff, only a stack
Channeling pumps stacks quickly (quit with the fucking ICD, hidden mechanics only acceptable if fully beyond player influence) while standard combat is slow to build, and loses stacks even when "multishotting air". Maybe add "Channeled skills gain stacks at triple rate".
Boom. Same functionality, but with new weights and compatibility strengths - the shit that drives interesting decision making and compelling playstyle varation.
#1 In D2 I used to have different characters for different builds because there was no respecs.. So idk imo it's not too bad to have different characters for different builds. We just need more character slots.
Also it would be great if you could just do everything with only 1 build and not change it all the time. But it won't work with the current itemization and difficulty scaling.
#2 I agree. I mostly do a lot of Solo Bounties and it is really slow
#3 I agree.. i really hate the whole concept that there is an item that makes something immortal.. why can't I have it on my character.
#4 Yeah its kinda lame.. I would also like some new design to the whole paragon system.. but that would require a lot more work.
#5 yeah why not
