Feb 2nd Minor Patch
A small patch was deployed yesterday to address some login issues and a bug which prevented the game from being terminated. No gameplay or balance changes should happen with it, so if you notice anything out of the ordinary feel free to report that to the devs.

Frost Marauder DH Guide
TryHardEnmity started working on D3 guides again, and his latest one showcases a Frost Marauder DH capable of pushing some high Greater Rifts. An interesting alternative if you're been running mostly Shadow Mantle. See it in our Builds tool, or the video guide below with some neat gameplay tips.

So it wasn't just me. Holy crap that was annoying.
Hah, good one. There never was build diversity. It's always been one top build for pushing, and one for farming T10.
BS. There never have been more viable builds for most classes which can surpass everything which has been there before (even without Despair). Naturally there will be best specs for high end pushing, because math. However, gear choices have been widened for LON builds and most classes have a "regular" set-item-build which can push really deep as well.
If everybody just keeps copying some frequently used builds, the public visible diversity will never go up. For example, there are Natalya players on the EU solo DH leaderboard contesting the top 10 positions. In theory LON CptAmerica deals equal/more group dps than a Raging Storm Wizard etc.
Most players don't want to innovate or go into insecure territory. They want a solution which works and immitate exactly that. Imho, you can only reasonably hate against build diversity if you are one of the players which try to experiment. This costs time and nerves and usually your leaderboard position. Not everybody has that or wants that. "Well the community will find out for me". Well, no shit sherlock: we are the community. We find out about new builds and if we only play what has been popularized on the PTR, the build diversity is much much lower, than it could be.
Don't assume I am one of these lame "play your way tuesday" players. I think that is the lamest shit ever. Imho if a build can not say beat 70 solo or 80 grouped it is useless.
