RIP Static Charge?

Quin has made a video talking about the impact of a recent change to the Static Charge rune for Monks, which can potentially make it nonviable on Patch 2.4. It starts out in a quite funny way, but towards the end has some serious thoughts from him on the change. Click the image below to watch it!

Possible Expansion Hints

Deadset recently released a video showcasing and talking about all the new Zones in Patch 2.4. The video focuses quite a bit on the lore of the new areas and their monsters, and he even discusses how the new zones possibly hint at some expansion elements! What do you think of his theory?

Wow, I never thought that image from the video would cause such a negative backlash. For those who felt offended by it, my sincere apologies - it was definitely not our intention (or Quin's, I believe) to make fun of suicides or anything like that. It's just a part of the video that's meant to be funny, and that was chosen to be its thumbnail. From the sound in the video, the "gun" even seems to be a toy and not a real (unloaded) weapon.

I've removed the video embed and replaced it with a screenshot that links to the actual video. This way people don't have to look at what they don't want. Once again, sorry for those who felt offended by this. I honestly thought it was an absolutely harmless joke.

i stopped when the guy pulled a gun to his head...... this is not the type of material that should be on youtube -- but thats their problem -- let alone the diablofans page....

We spend hours reducing to bits huge monsters with guts, heads, limbs & blood everywhere on the screen, and, for a worldwide known player, using a metaphor to say RIP to his spec, the same are shocked...
Perhaps my age helps to step up from this kind of thing, or I'm too used to violent images (I hope not) to take it for real, so, I think Quin made a great video regarding the 'nerf' of this spec.
And he is right, many things get buffed, except static charge...
I agree with everything you said. And, judging from YT comments, everyone there considered the video to be funny and interesting - sometimes I have the impression that there are people who are actively looking for stuff they will find offensive (at least in some manner).
