Blue Post Round-Up
There were a couple interesting blue posts yesterday. The first was Wyatt Cheng confirming the floating experience numbers are indeed a bug and will be fixed in the next PTR patch, and the other is a clarification from Nevalistis oh why the Mac fix is taking a little longer than anticipated. See them below.

Just simply put an option in the IU menu that we can activate or not, like the amount of healing, or the amount of damage done.
Thanks.
So just to clarify: Mac will not have PTR this period ?We have every intention to fix the Mac compatibility issues with PTR as soon as possible. The fix is just proving much more time consuming than initially anticipated.
While we don't have an ETA to provide at this time, our current plan is to include the Mac client fixes with our first PTR patch. We'll provide additional updates as they become available. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Alkaizer Thoughts on PTR 2.4 and Bugs
Alkaizer has been extensively testing content on the Patch 2.4 PTR and he made a video going over his thoughts on class balance and other end-game related topics. He also starts the video talking about some bugs and why people are capable of doing such high GRs. Watch below.
Lowering the stat point reward after 800 from 5 to 1 is a good suggestion. Too bad it won't be implemented.
Barbarian low toughness ? guess he never played Demon hunter lol.
Ptr DH actually have a ton of toughness now
it's still annoying if you don't use critical hit chance and critical hit damage (thorns crus) that you can't redistribute those points somewhere else
Can someone explain how lowering the value of each Paragon level will make farming them less attractive? That seems totally counter-intuitive to me. You're going to nerf people's characters which is going to make them want to farm things to make them more powerful...less? I get the point that it will narrow the gap between paragon 800 and paragon 1800 characters, but what will also happen is people will still say "hey I want to get to Grift XX, and I need paragon level YYYY to do it because it gives me ZZZZ stats...but now I have to farm 5x as long to get to those same stats." and then the saltiness about how the paragon grind is the only thing worth doing will just get 5x worse – will it not?
Also the point at the end about how "Yeah, um, I have enough dps to do like grift 100 but only enough toughness to do like grift 60 or 70" (or whatever numbers) "and it just seems really bad...I mean yeah, I could trade some dps for toughness but..." I just stopped listening right there. If you're going to overload one side of your stat sheet, no duh – one side of your stat sheet is going to be overloaded. If you want it to be more balanced, expecting to just be able to add add add add add until they're both even is completely unreasonable. There has to be a point where you're starting to cap out and make decisions. That's the point of fine-tuning.
Blech – aside from the call-outs for the bugs (which definitely need to be fixed), I feel like I'm either missing some very basic concepts of game theory or this guy is (and yes I know he's like so kewl in the Diablo casting universe). Compromising your over-wrought dps stats for a bit of extra toughness is not going to kill you.
