Thrill Conquest Builds
The Thrill Conquest is achieved by the playing clearing a GR 40 without using any class sets, and our users have come up with quite a few different builds to complete this challenge. Posted Sep 15, 2015You can actually get The Thrill conquest completed while wearing class sets. I managed to do it on my Witch Doctor by accident a few weeks ago (was in full Helltooth at the time).
I died right before I killed the Rift Guardian, and a few DoTs were still active and finished it off (was either Wall of Death, Necrosis, or Gem of Efficaious Toxin that got the killing blow) and I got the achievement pop up. I'm sure it is a bug, and I guess when you are dead the game thinks you have no gear on?
Of course this seems extremely impractical and you would be better off just following one of the posted guides.

Posted Sep 15, 2015I got The Thrill completely by accident.
I had dots rolling on a rift boss and died just before he died. The dots finished him off. I was using Helltooth's 6pc at the time so I guess being dead means you're not wearing a set.

Posted Sep 15, 2015@chumly both builds are good, but imo Jeatch build is faster . Teleport > Walk with his build we can hunt elites and that give me 35-40 db per rift (3-4 min rifts)
