Patch Not Coming Today
Some users wondered if Patch 2.3 was being deployed today, specially after rumors about some players being able to download it. Nevalistis clarified that is not the case, and Patch 2.3 is coming only after Season 3 ends. Read below.

If so, his client might just be trying to catch up to our current 2.2.1 patch.
Is 2.3 patch downloading in groups, so as to not overload servers?

We won't be deploying the patch until after the end of Season 3, which you can read more about here.
Minor UI Improvement
Wyatt Cheng tweeted about a minor UI improvement coming in Patch 2.3 that might not get much attention. A small change, but the devil is in the details right? And some players might appreciate being able to identify {[Ancient Items]} in chat.
State of Sanctuary #2
This Saturday MannerCookie hosted another State of Sanctuary podcast with Quin, Deadset and Joebo. They talked about some very hot end-game topics: the most recent PTR patch and changes, Seasons and the Paragon "problem". Incredibly high quality discussion, with deep insight from players with tons of knowledge. Definitely check it out!
Is State of Sanctuary not on itunes?
Not an apple user myself (and never will be), but podcast has become a general term. Whether a content creator decides to upload their content to more locations is up to them. Youtube is accessible by everyone, iTunes doesn't hit the Android market or many PC users as well (which most gamers are on PCs and not Macs).
Agree that crusaders are a lock. Disagree Wizards received any "medium" buffs. Mostly small, negligible buffs. Doubt you'll see any in GR progression. Vyr's is flawed in a big way, the way they touched on.
Maybe next patch...
i was thinking about a way to limit the impact of botting on seasons, and removing the trial keys + put a cap on paragon levels could be working, it's really an interesting way to deal with that problem
Paragon should be capped at 800, it makes no sense to allow infinite power growth that's achieved almost solely through time played. Makes the competitive side of the game a joke to anyone that has any semblance of a life.
There will never not be an advantage to more play time. May I balance that out with a positive? If it were capped? Less impetus on endless racing, more focus on latter seasonal competition when the majority arrives.
@podcast: That was a long listen. Lots of things talked about. Yes to the hard cap on paragon points. Agree. Not liking the nebulous season length. Really hope they consider an off season-season thing like Quin touched on. Weird interesting flavors of buffs and all. And finally - yes! Toss out gold find. I'll take magic find over it, or pick up radius, or % to flail arms wildly, or just about anything else. Agree paragon system may be in need of a 3.0 iteration.
