Pylon Manipulation in 2.2
It looks like the Pylon manipulation technique is getting fixed in Patch 2.2. Check how below.

When I read the question regarding pylons during the Tavern Talk I thought the person asking wanted pylons removed from Greater Rifts completely.
This particular issue was fixed over a month ago internally, but we decided to hold the fix for patch 2.2 rather than hotfix it directly to live.
For those who are curious, the fix is pretty simple. If you intentionally manipulate the mechanics to force the pylons to queue up with nowhere to spawn in unexplored area then you simply lose the pylons instead.
John Yang on Legacy Gear
John Yang tweeted in response to a player's concern that Legacy gear with +Discipline might be problematic with the new Unhallowed Essence set bonus. He explained that they don't really want unobtainable gear to be the best - so if that ends up happening we can probably expect them to take measures. Read below.

@_JohnYang maybe cap the damage increase from disc on unhallowed set. Legacy items cause issues.@gamefrk101 Which legacy items? There should be lvl 70 item alternatives for +Max Disc. We don't want unobtainable gear to be the best.

Posted Mar 30, 2015I don't see the point in altering legacy items which only affect non-ladder play. It's never been a problem before if emphasis is put on seasonal ladders to use as a measuring stick of performance.
But yes, lets cave to those who are butthurt about precious non-ladder play where everything's made up and the points don't matter.
