Pure "Pet" Barbarian
MeatHeadMikhail has made a video showcasing an Ancients Barbarian with the revamped Immortal King's set on the PTR. He talks about the changes and shows the build in action on GR 40 without him doing "much". Pretty cool video - check it out!
D3 and RoS Sale
Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls are again on sale at Best Buy for 20 dollars each! For those who got excited about all the future Patch 2.2 changes that we recently learned about on the PTR, or those who want to bring a friend over to Sanctuary, now might be the best time!
Monk in Cathedral Fanart
dasEvach has posted an awesome fanart painting over at her Deviantart page. She was looking to practice on making detailed backgrounds, and used the Cathedral from Diablo - after it was done she added a Monk to the picture. Check it out!
I do hope they bring the Raekor pet build to live and not nerf it to the ground. They can always buff the other classes to bring them on par with barbs.
If you guys remember, back when they showed D3 for the 1st time, Jay Wilson had said that he wanted the players to feel powerful when playing their toons and not hit like a wet noodle.
Granted, super op items like the Ashbringer that crits for 42 billion does need to be balanced but stuff like this Raekor build is fine. I mean it's about time we go past GR 50s and start pushing into the 60s and 70s. And item changes like these are a good way to implement that power creep.
Other wise you're just doing the same shit over and over again with no sense of progression.
When you put it on the front page of a major D3 site and mention how he doesn't have to do "much" to GR 40, it's safe to assume you're inviting the nerf stick to step up to this build's piñata..
If you watch the video (commentary) and try it for yourself, you'll see the limitation. IK 6 piece is a good set now, but it has its limitations. Ancients still die in G45+ fairly quickly. You also can't control what they target, so you have to stick around and wait for everything to die. Can't 'fast forward' to desirable targets like with Raekors. And at G45+ the damage output is inferior to Raekors on trash. IMO IK is a good set now, not too strong not too weak. Also keep in mind this is a fairly optimized 'build'/proof of concept to see what pets ALONE can do. As I mentioned in the video, it's not really a standalone build.
That's not really the intent Jeevus. It's just to showcase some of the new stuff possible within the 2.2 PTR right now - first so that people can make informed decisions when farming at live (like maybe keeping ancient Set pieces that they would otherwise salvage), and second so that they can provide feedback.
If the general consensus is that Ancients being too much "automated farming" (like Marauder Sentries were for what, 4+ months?) and some much better alternatives are suggested by the community, I don't see harm in them changing the set bonuses or how the skill works. That's what the PTR is for. I don't particularly have an opinion on this, as I haven't tested it myself.
Have to also keep in mind how farming this was relatively easy in the PTR with the 3000%+ legendary drop buff, whereas in non-Seasonal live or Season 3 (when the patch will come) it will likely take a while - to both farm and optimize (good rolls, etc).
Most of the websites do not allow you to choose which product is best suited for your dog and if you want to Buy Online Natural Supplements For Dogs you should go for reliable brand. In fact, they usually show pictures of all their products and ask customers to choose one at random.
