Patch 2.1.2 Preparation

Tainted Squirrel made a thread over at Reddit showing how he prepared for the new Patch. He farmed a ton of materials and Greater Rift keys to make sure he doesn't waste any time when looking for (or crafting) those Ancient legendaries and reaching new GR levels. He even risked saving up quite a few T6 caches just in case those end up dropping Ancients due to an oversight. Mind how this mostly applies to non-seasonal players. How did you prepare for Patch 2.1.2's release?

I stopped grinding rifts after the XP event ended, so I spent the last 2 weeks preparing for 2.1.2.

Crafting Mats:

Got a lot of crafting to do, ~34k of each mat.
250 Templar Quest runs to get those Reusable Parts.

Rift / Greater Rift keys:
Got a lot of gems to level for my alts, and of course my existing gems.

1,271 bounties for the rift keys.
476 Trials completed for the GR keys.

Demon Hunter 2.1.2 Items

Philosophios has made a quick, straight to the point video outlining some of the more important item changes for Demon Hunters once Patch 2.1.2 hits, likely tomorrow. Those coming back just now from a break and looking to get started farming Ancient Items as soon as possible will want to keep in mind the changes to the Marauder set, and adjust items accordingly to reach higher Greater Rifts.
