New 2.1 PTR Build - Datamined changes

As expected, a new build appeared on the PTR today and we already have the first changes for you.
The following is datamined, and may contain errors, please keep this in mind!


New Images - Gems, Icons, UI

Also to note, there are new textures for some DH abilities that had their element changed! There are also Rift keystone Icons for every level, and a new mail UI.

New / Changed Set Bonuses

  • New Firebird's Finery 6 Piece Bonus -  Dealing Fire damage causes the enemy to take the same amount of damage over 3 seconds, stacking up to 3000% weapon damage as Fire per second. After reaching 3000% damage per second, the enemy will burn until they die.

  • Unique_Gem_006_x1 - Xiangyi, most beautiful of Xiansai master gem cutters, crafted this gem in honor of a former lover. The angrier she got, the faster she worked, and the gem was ready in no time. Only after she had tested its efficacy was she finally satisfied.

  • Bash
    • Onslaught has been completely reworked : The enemy has a 10% increased chance to be Critically Hit for 3 seconds. Bash's damage turns into Lightning.
    • Clobber has been replaced by Frostbite : Each hit Freezes the enemy for 1.5 seconds. Enemies can be frozen by Bash once every 5 seconds.
  • Cleave
  • Furious Charge : Now deals 600% weapon damage. (up from 540%) weapon damage.
    • Battering Ram : Now increases damage to 1050% weapon damage (up from 900%).
    • Bull Rush has been renamed to Cold Rush.
  • Rend
  • Whirlwind : Now deals 340% weapon damage (up from 275%).

Demonhunter


Monk


  • Resolve : Duration increased to 4 seconds (up from 2.5).
  • Dashing Strike
    • Barrage : Now deals 750% weapons damage (up from 498%).
    • Way of the Falling Star : Now deals Holy damage.
    • Quicksilver : Now deals Lightning damage.
    • Flying Side Kick has been replaced by Radiance : Gain 15% increased attack speed for 3 seconds after using Dashing Strike. Dashing Strike's damage turns into Fire.
  • Exploding Palm has been completely redesigned : Cause an enemy to Bleed for 1200% weapon damage as Physical over 9 seconds. If the enemy dies while bleeding, it explodes and deals 2770% weapon damage as Physical damage to all nearby enemies.
    • Creeping Demise has been replaced by Shocking Grasp  : Exploding Palm arcs up to 15 yards to another target. Exploding Palm's damage turns into Lightning.
    • Impending Doom has been completely redesigned : Exploding Palm no longer causes the enemy to bleed, but if the enemy dies while affected by Exploding Palm, they explode for 6305% weapon damage as Cold.
    • Strong Spirit : Now deals Holy damage.
    • Essence Burn : Now deals 1875% weapon damage (down from 2620%) before the explosion and 3260% weapon damage (up from 640%) to nearby enemies after the explosion.
  • Seven-Sided Strike
    • Sudden Assault : Now deals Lightning damage.
    • Several-Sided Strike has been replaced by Incinerate : Seven-Sided Strike causes enemies to burn for 630% weapon damage as Fire over 3 seconds.
  • Tempest Rush : Additional Cost while channeling removed. Cost increased to 25 Spirit (up from 15). Now deals 390% weapon damage (up from 260%).
    • Northern Breeze : Now reduces Spirit cost to 25 Spirit (up from 8). Now deals 500% weapon damage (up from 310%). Possible error on cost reduction.
    • Flurry has been completely redesigned : After you stop channeling Tempest Rush, you cause an icy blast to all enemies within 15 yards. The damage of the explosion increases by 135% weapon damage as Cold while channeling. Tempest Rush's damage turns into Cold.
  • Mystic Ally
    • Fire Ally : Active: Now deals 290% weapon damage (up from 149%).
    • Water Ally : Active: Now deals 625% weapon damage (up from 190%).
    • Earth Ally : Active: Now deals 380% weapon damage (up from 333%).
  • Seize the Initiative has been completely redesigned : Dealing damage to enemies above 80% Life increases your attack speed by 15% for 4 seconds.
    • Flavor : The Monks of Ivgorod are trained to move like water ??? flowing freely into open spaces and crashing hard against their foes.

  • Meteor : Now deals 610% weapon damage on the initial impact (up from 501%) and 195% weapon damage over time (up from 190%).
    • Comet : Now deals 700% weapon damage on the initial impact (up from 590%) and 235% weapon damage over time (up from 224%).
  • Disintegrate has been completely reworked : Cost: 18 Arcane Power. Channel a beam of pure energy, dealing 360% weapon damage as Arcane. Disintegrate damage is increased by 100% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 860% weapon damage as Arcane.
    • Entropy has been completely reworked : The beam fractures into a short-ranged cone that deals 465% weapon damage as Arcane. Disintegrate damage is increased by 145% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 1190% weapon damage as Arcane.
  • Ray of Frost has been completely reworked : Cost: 16 Arcane Power. Project a beam of frozen ice that blasts enemies within 5 yards of the first enemy hit for 380% weapon damage as Cold and Slows their movement by 60% for 3 seconds. Ray of Frost damage is increased by 115% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 955% weapon damage as Cold.
    • Sleet Storm has been completely reworked : Create a swirling storm around you that grows up to a 22 yard radius, dealing 285% weapon damage as Cold to all enemies caught within it. / Ray of Frost damage is increased by 90% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 735% weapon damage as Cold.
    • Black Ice : Now deals 756% weapon damage (down from 1204%).
  • Arcane Torrent has been completely reworked : Cost: 16 Arcane Power. Hurl a barrage of arcane projectiles that deal 370% weapon damage as Arcane to all enemies near the impact location. Arcane Torrent damage is increased by 105% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 895% weapon damage as Arcane.
    • Death Blossom has been completely reworked : Unleash a torrent of power beyond your control. You no longer direct where the projectiles go, but their damage is greatly increased to 1215% weapon damage as Arcane. Arcane Torrent damage is increased by 370% weapon damage every second, up to a maximum total of 3065% weapon damage as Arcane.

Healing Changes
  • Life on Hit is no longer affected by proc coefficients and will now only be triggered once per attack, as long as that attack dealt damage
    • Channeled attacks will provide an amount of healing over any given period of time that is equivalent to a non-channeled attack

      • Urshi will only appear after a player's Greater Rift journey has ended (i.e. after the Rift timer has expired) and the Rift Guardian in the current level has been defeated
      • Upgrading a Legendary Gem to the next rank has higher chance of success and a higher chance of granting multiple ranks based on the Greater Rift level you reach (the higher Greater Rift level, the higher chance of success/multiple ranks)
      • The only requirement to upgrade a Legendary Gem is the gem itself; there is no other cost associated with upgrading
      • Each Legendary Gem has a property listed in blue that will be upgraded each time the gem's rank increases
      • Each Legendary Gem has a secondary power that will be unlocked when it reaches Rank 50
    • Players will not receive a duplicate of any Legendary Gem the character they're currently playing has access to
      • This includes Legendary Gems in the character's inventory, its followers's inventories, or the Shared Stash, as well as Legendary Gems socketed in items in those locations
  • A new Legendary consumable has been added
    • Ramaladni's Gift​
      • Use on an unsocketed weapon to add the maximum number of sockets that item type allows

    I guess i should toss away all my random poison gear i've found on mu Demon Hunter, they are replacing this element with cold... which i like; Frostburn will get some love. But now, how many poison spells are left in the Demon Hunter's arsenal?

    At last, EP is being fixed. The changes for Wizard seems very delicious.. so good that I now know what class to play in the ladder :D

    Really? I think they are beyond underwhelming. The channeling spells won't catch up with the prenerfed versions until after roughly 5 (Disintegrate) or 7 (Arcane barrage) seconds. MM got nerfed hard. Ray of frost probably still has the most horrific mechanic in the game (Thanks autotargetting!), Meteor is still bad, so is arcane orb. Explosive blast got a nice buff though (Which is fair, but it is just so far from the only thing that needs a buff on wizards).

    I guess my point is, I don't understand what you are reading that makes you want to play a wizard for ladder.

    They will probably buff the other aspects of monks once the outrage of one of their key abilities getting rekt reaches Blizzard HQ. Unless of course you are in the same boat as wizards, at which point you should just 1. reroll or 2. deal with it.

    3320 x 5 = 16600. It just shows total damage now instead of damage per sphere.
