Magic Find In-Depth Video

ChromeOnRust made a quite long and detailed video a while ago on how Magic Find works on Reaper of Souls, and its effects on Legendary drops.

A considerable part of it consists of basic information (specially if you are not a casual player), like how drops work and things like statistics based on difficulty, but it goes on to add some interesting thoughts, like whether it is worth to have Magic Find gear (Nagelring and Topaz on Helmet) instead of end-game BiS like the Stone of Jordan. Check it out!

Power Rangers on Sanctuary

Looks like our fellow moderator and official forum MVP Jaetch got footage of the Power Rangers cruising through Sanctuary... wait, what?

Support for Ultimate Evil Edition

A post came up earlier today to explain that the Ultimate Evil Edition of Reaper of Souls, for consoles, will be launching with content up to Patch 2.0.5 (and probably get a day 1 patch to add everything up to 2.0.6). The developers also apparently still don't know if there will be more content added to it afterwards, namely all the content being added by Patch 2.1 (Seasons, Greater Rifts, Legendary Gems, etc.).

The vanilla version seemed to be a little underwhelming in that department, and many of us would like to know if UE edition will receive a little more love in the form of patches and dlc.
Thanks in advance! :D
We're still working out all the details regarding if and how Ultimate Evil Edition will be supported post-launch (e.g. will we patch the game after it ships? if yes, should we only patch to fix bugs and address critical game issues, or should we patch in new content as well? at what frequency should we patch?), so we don’t have an answer for you right now. That said, I can confirm that UEE will ship on all platforms with all updates included up to patch 2.0.5, and that there will likely be a “Day 1” patch to add in patch 2.0.6 content, too.

As we move closer to ship and finalize our post-launch patching plans, we’ll be sure to keep you updated. Great question, though!

Provoke the Pack Typo

The Sacrifice skill is going to be drastically redesigned come Patch 2.1, but apparently there was a typo in the patch notes which led WD players to believe it would stack up to 10 times. Instead, the intended design and how the skill is currently working on the 2.1.0 PTR is with a maximum of 5 stacks. Just a heads-up for anyone planning to include the skill on their builds come Patch 2.1.

We've looked into this and discovered that this isn't actually a bug. The 10 stack limitation was from a previous internal build, and the change to 5 stacks prior to the PTR release and during the patch note process went missed. Apologies for the confusion, but Sacrifice (Provoke the Pack) is intended to stack up to 5.

As this is both the way the 2.1 PTR launched and the intended design (and essentially makes it a typo), I've updated thePatch Notes accordingly.

Thanks for the report!
