Hello everyone, and welcome to the Patch 2.0.1 PTR! Below you will find the Known Issues list for the 2.0.1 PTR. (Patch Notes are available here). Please do not report bugs that you see on this list, as we already know about them, and help out other players reporting bugs by referring them to this list.

As a reminder, this is the PTR and changes will be implemented rapidly. This list will not contain every bug that is active on the PTR, and this list will be updated at a very rapid pace as the testing process progresses. 

What it is listed here are a select few issues -- chosen due to visibility/impact -- that are active and confirmed as bugs by Quality Assurance with verifiable steps and an expected fix. We have hundreds of bugs in our database, so it would be impossible to list all known issues. Just because a bug is not on this list does not mean we don't know about it! In addition, potential exploits and the like will never be listed here.

Please note that documented bugs may not always be fixed in the order in which they were reported. In some cases, we may not have a timeline for a when a bug will be fixed and some bugs may not be able to be fixed at all. If we are able to verify that a documented bug cannot be fixed, it will be removed from this list.

Social
  • Clans cannot be disbanded.
  • Searches made in the Clan Finder and Communities interface are case-sensitive.
  • Clan Members are able to see Officer chat.
Items
  • Items with the Crushing Blow affix may appear in-game. The Crushing Blow effect does not function at this time.
  • Various Weapons and Armor are using placeholder art or icons.
  • Certain crafted items that were copied over to the PTR with retail characters may now have a level requirement of 61 or higher.
  • Items dropped on the PTR server may require level 61 or higher.
  • To correct an issue with crafting that was causing a server crash, a hotfix was implemented to alter certain crafting recipes. As a result, some recipes may consume the crafting materials used and not create an item. We hope to have this resolved in a future PTR patch.
Mac
  • Reaper of Souls/Diablo III Patch 2.0.1 cannot be played on Mac systems with 2GB of RAM or lower.

I wanted to take a quick moment to expand a bit on the following issue listed above:
To correct an issue with crafting that was causing a server crash, a hotfix was implemented to alter certain crafting recipes. As a result, some recipes may consume the crafting materials used and not create an item. We hope to have this resolved in a future PTR patch.

Lack of a Rare/Legendary Drop From Bosses Is Not a Bug

If a D3 boss happens to not drop a rare or legendary (in the case of "big" bosses) you should keep in mind this possibility is actually intended.

I created a new wizard on Hardcore and killed the Skeleton King on Master Difficulty for the first time and did not recieve any rare weapons or armor. He dropped two blue items and a Demonic Essence. I do not know if the Demonic Essence counts as a rare loot drop but I recall getting two rares on live for each first boss kill. This was done on the PTR in solo Hardcore Master Difficulty with a wizard.
This is intended. Act Sub-bosses (Skeleton King, Maghda, Cydea, etc.) do not always drop a rare item, though they have a higher chance to do so than the average monster. (Blue TrackerOfficial Forums)
I have killed diablo with a new character for the first time on expert difficulty and he didn't drop any legendaries.
This is not a bug. Difficulty has no bearing at all on first kill legendaries in 2.0.1. (Blue TrackerOfficial Forums)

Load Testing Update

Update: Load testing successfully completed last night (Sunday, December 15). Thank you to everyone who logged in to the PTR and Closed Beta last week and over the weekend and helped us test!

Please note that while load testing has concluded, players may still experience some issues with performance whenever the PTR and Closed Beta are at high capacity.
