A panel of Blizzard judges recently completed the first stage of selection for the first-ever BlizzCon Talent Contest. They agonized over the amazing entries we received, and—after much deliberation—chose three of the four Grand Finalists, who will be revealed at BlizzCon in November.

Now it’s your turn to weigh in! Blizzard gamers from all over the world will have the opportunity to watch five contestant videos, and then vote in a poll for the act that most deserves the opportunity to be recognized at BlizzCon 2013. The act that is chosen will be our fourth and last Grand Finalist, and could wind up on stage at BlizzCon to compete for a top prize of $4,500.

To participate, just watch all five two-minute videos, then vote for your choice in the poll below. The Community’s Choice Poll closes on October 4, so cast your vote today!
Without further ado, here are the contestants:

The Argent Crusader’s Hymn

Wrath of the Piano Queen

Why Do Leaves Fall

Lament of the Highborne by Galesong

Patch Tuesday

Thank you for your vote, and we hope to see you at the show!

If you liked some of the acts better than the others, visit the original post and vote in the official poll there.

Blizzard's Console Launch Party
Blizzard hosted a great party for D3's console version launch and a few members of the team posted photos of the event on Twitter. The last one is taken by Josh Mosqueira and it's from the Mexico office party. One thing's for sure - if anything, those parties look Heavenly, instead of Hellish.

Community Commentary: And I'm Free, Free Farmin'...

And that's why this week's Community Commentary shout-out goes to kolchin04 for asking the /r/Diablo community:

We definitely encourage you to share what your favorite farming route would be and some of the details about why you'd prefer it. Coming up with a farming route from nothing can be a little daunting, so if you're having a hard time deciding on your path, then you may want to ask yourself some of these questions to help get the creative process started:
  • Would you like to visit all the areas you aesthetically like the most?
  • Are you trying to maximize either experience farming or loot efficiency?
  • Would you like to avoid or engage a specific monster type?
  • Do you prefer indoor dungeons to outdoor environments?
