As part of this, we're now inviting beta testers to help test and refine a new desktop app for Battle.net designed to improve the launcher experience for all Blizzard games and streamline the ability for players to get into their games.

If you'd like to help us with the testing, head to your Battle.net Beta Profile and opt in to at least one of the game universe beta tests (if you haven’t done so already). We'll be inviting players to the beta test in waves—if you're selected, your Battle.net account will be flagged automatically and you’ll receive an email with additional details.

For more information, check out the FAQ or visit the beta test forums.

Risks of Hardcore Co-Op
We all know that playing public games in Hardcore can be risky (any time you involve other people, that becomes the case), and I hope everyone is being extra careful when they do.

@CodSack As a fellow Hardcore player who’s lost a few high-level characters, I’m really sorry this happened to you. We all know that it’s likely that we’ll eventually die in Hardcore (sometimes due to circumstances we can’t even control), and that it’s permanent when it happens, but it doesn’t change the fact that losing a hero can be pretty hard. I can only imagine how frustrating this was for you, but I hope it doesn’t dampen your spirits too much or turn you away from the Hardcore community. Generally, it’s full of awesome people who genuinely love the play style, and only want to help out their fellow Nephalem. I hope this has primarily been your experience too.

I know you’re concerned with ensuring this kind of situation doesn’t happen again (to you or to other players), so I want to let you know that we’re passing along the feedback from this thread to the appropriate people who can evaluate it and decide what to do. Along those lines, it’s also helpful to report this kind of behavior whenever you see it using the right click > Report option, so that our Customer Support staff can investigate the situation itself and anyone involved. Unless we receive a report, we can’t really look into the issue and/or see if there’s any way that we can assist. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Potential of Potion Effects
There are a lot of possibilities with potion effects, and I think it's an interesting topic. It certainly doesn't hurt to talk about your ideas, and I'd be happy to pass along your suggestions.

Dyes for armor are already useless since you can't change legendary armor except making it invisible.

I just wanted to point out that this is still in the works. I know it's been a long time, but it's still on the way. I'll quote Vaeflare to give a little more insight on the subject.
We’re definitely working on making all dyes work for Legendary items. It’s not a quick-fix, though; as Fearophobias surmised, our artists actually need to go back and redo the textures on all the Legendaries in order to make them dye-compatible.

Suspected Scammers Get a Secondary Review
Legal Perspective: Witnessed a Scammer Get Banned.[...] Blizzard must follow its rules. Blizzard cannot, and never will, prove that any player has ever committed fraud (unless players admit it). Intent is a hard thing to prove. (typing 1m instead of 10m by accident is not fraud. Even doing so intentionally is not fraud. Players are responsible for accepting trades in trade windows. There are no nannies regulating trades. Or use the AH. Period.)
Hi all, the response here is directed at OP, but can also serve as a general message in regards to the question. The main underlying point here is that we always want to do our best to give our players a fair shake, and that's why we'll oftentimes offer to review account actions again when requested even after the initial review.

The most important component here is that we have the affected account contact us as soon as possible to have the issue reviewed again if we've not already done so. Included in the messaging about the account action is a link that the account holder can use to have a ticket resubmitted on their behalf to have us look at this again. Otherwise, a ticket can be submitted through our Support Portal. (If submitting a ticket of this nature through the affected account, please try to offer as much information in the ticket as possible regarding your concern.)

@Souperman: We do appreciate your interest on behalf of your friend, but we won't necessarily go into specific detail about the account review process. That being said, I apologize if those support pages that you referred to were not as specific as you would like, and we'll do our best to review those to make sure that they do provide the necessary helpful information affected players are looking for.
