Part of our job is to "surf the web," as it were, but it's not in the way you might think at first. I have a few family members that only play games on Xbox 360, and I'm glad that I'll be able to play Diablo III with them rather than just talk about it. I'll always primarily play on my PC, but this will definitely have it's time and place too.

- Self found party trades are O.K.
- No vendor items
- Crafting is ok, but only use self found materials

Loroese's Arcane Mines Guide
One of the great Wizards on our forum Loroese has made a great guide for an Arcane Mines Wizard build. It focuses on using the Arcane Mines rune for Arcane Torrent and is great for coop play, but is also a viable solo build.

Posted Jun 9, 2013It's nice to think that Someone Somewhere is taking your ideas and opinions seriously, but I think too many people fail to see it from Blizzard's point of view. For us, it's one person talking to (hopefully) some random Blizzard employee who go assigned that particular thread to watch. It's an exercise in communication.
For them it's a matter of collating thousands of disparate opinions and filtering them through their own limitations and goals. It's an exercise in statistics and project management... neither of which are well-understood by the vast bulk of the community (who regularly mix up project managers with devs with CMs, and who think 'add more devs' is always a good idea).

Do you not consider a book read until you write a book report on it or call the author up and tell them you liked it?
There are TONS of posts, they couldn't possibly respond to everything, even if they wanted to. They shouldn't want or have to though anyway. Most of the time there's just not much to say or share.
It's feedback, not a discussion (most of the time). Most of the information is compiled and then relayed via the CMs in a meeting.
Exactly. Not sure why though, it's pretty easy to understand. They read, they take it into account.
It must be an ego thing to want a blue to respond to you. Every single post does not need to or even should be valifdated with a response. It's not practical and it wouldn't change anything anyway.
Maybe it would make people happy if there was an icon near threads that shows that a blue clicked on it to read it.
But then people would just say, "they didn't really read it, they are just paying someone to click on all the threads!"
