The days around Diablo III's first anniversary are a great time to talk about the future. This is exactly what Blizzard is focused on, based on the almost 7 minutes video that was posted on PlayStation's YouTube channel today. Have a look at the video and decide for yourself what the future holds.
Possible Changes in Customer Support Practices
The recent exploits that came immediately after the release of Patch 1.0.8 brought a lot of distress in Blizzard's relationship with players due to the fact a lot of people got punished by having all their items become Bound on Account. As it turns out, most of the cases are still under review, but the time without a concrete answer got many of the 'suspects' on their toes. Araxom addressed their fears and anxiety in a few posts, getting the hopes up for a possible change of the way customers' complaint are being handled.

I completely agree. I've been in contact with not just the teams dealing with the reviews, but also our own CS supervisors to help promote this very idea.
I sincerely hope this has helped shed some more light as to what's going on - and if I have more info to provide I will be sure to share that.

Anniversary Art and a Video of the Creation Process
