Character Profiles Possibly Coming Soon
In case you missed the Facebook teaser post today. A blank picture (seen on the right) was posted on the official Diablo III Facebook page along with the text "Coming soon to www.Diablo3.com". Compared to the previous preview of character profiles (seen on the left) it's clear they match together. However there have been no updates in the Diablo API forum post.
For any developers out there, now seems to be the time to get ready for the web API. Make sure to check out the Diablo Tools section for resources and to post any information about tools you will be making.
There also appears to be a fun little easter egg hidden in the twitter version of the picture. Found at the bottom center you can see math based around the good old "1 = .999". Check out iFaTaL's thread for a few pictures . However it seems to be aimed at an old Blizzard joke which can be found on their press site
Critical Mass Wizard Build
RGDiablo3 has posted another video, this time covering his version of the "Critical Mass" build for the Wizard. He covers in detail the skill choices (along with alternative skill choices) and gear information. Feel free to check out his thread and leave any feedback.

"Evil's Truck"
Shortly after the release of Diablo 3, Blizzard had a fun way to promote Diablo III. In the video you can see the mobile game truck that let people play Diablo III and see some rather interesting decorations.
Are You Looking Forward to the Character Profiles?
With character profiles looking to be right around the corner, and the Diablo III web API soon to be live as well, are you looking forward to the profiles and possible user tools?
In fact one was pointing out that I was the only one left playing D3.. I quickly corrected him, D3 is just a glorified chat channel atm
With me its exactly the same, although i expected a lot to quit early but not that fast..
Wtf???
I wish they had made it sooner, and they still haven't given us a final preview in the official thread with all the updates I asked for, but hopefully it'll preview tomorrow, and come out tuesday.
The armory has nothing to do with the game issues or patches, its a 100% different team that has no impact on how long a patch takes... its free "content" if you will.
It's workforce investment that could be used in another feature. For exemple, making the game guide something close to Arreat Summit with all the theorycraft formulas explained.
Anyway thats just a simple question: are you looking forward that feature ? No cause all my FL is no long playing the game, noone will look my profile and i will look the profile of noone. It's pointless for me, i'm sorry =(
I think this patch is just taking too long. Each patchless day more people are giving up and some part of those quits will never return. This is extremely sad for me, i wish D3 had at least a clan feature so people felt little more commited to each other.
that's a valid point (about the game guide) However keep in mind, the web team puts the info up, its not the web team coming up with the info however. Thats the dev team actually. They have to provide all that information to the web team, and the dev team is busy =P. But at the same time, the web api is just as important to some (for really great community apps) it's just the players saying "no" soly on the reason of "patch 1.0.4 taking longer" kind of thing, which they have nothing to do with one another.
There's no doubt in my mind that Blizzard knows they aren't exactly winning fans right now, but the armory is an ok feature that in the long run will be useful and used a lot. Not the greatest timing though from a PR/Company Image standpoint.
The game is not responding to the huge expectations that it had, i mean so many years for a "complete" (sarcasm) game and when it finally came out...full of bugs (and reaaaaaally important bugs) and full of problems, in fact it has so many problems that only a few are left playing... at any forum we can read complains about lots of ingame problems and blizz come out with a brand new char profile...
so its normal that the comments about it are not the best
