DPS Equation Information
We have linked many different tools and spreadsheets that can be used to calculate your dps. However, some of you want something more basic, and want to understand the math yourselves. zrave takes the time to explain how to get near perfect DPS calculations. He does point out one extra step in the comments needed if you want to reduce rounding errors.
When a weapon has attack speed bonus, if you want exact results you need to calculate the attacks per second manually.If the weapon has 10% attack speed bonus, you multiply the above number by 1.1 for a 10% increase. So for example a polearm with 10% attack speed bonus has attack speed 1.045, not 1.04 as shown in game.

Class Buffs in 1.0.4
Many players are waiting for the big 1.0.4 for many reasons. One of those reasons being the massive class changes coming in the patch. Bashiok replies on twitter about the Witch Docotor. Keep in mind, we should be seeing a developer blog on the class changes at some point in the future.

With the previously released Diablo games, the widespread use of third-party services for real-money transactions led to countless issues that heavily impacted our customer service efforts and negatively affected the Diablo gaming experience for players. We created the real-money auction to provide players with an officially sanctioned, fully integrated environment in which to make real-money trades. While no system is perfect, having a convenient, fully in-game method for these types of transactions should help players avoid the types of issues associated with third-party trading that have in the past led to bad experiences for players.
