Closed Beta Players - "One of the Chosen" Feat of Strength
It looks like people who were invited into the closed beta will be getting a feat of strength along with a unique sigil after logging in for the first time.

In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself). Please note that players who participated only in the Open Beta Weekend, but were not invited to the closed beta, will not receive this Feat of Strength.

Pretty sad, you already have a signature for it. Get a life please.
I'm more mad at the fact I didn't get a beta invite. But now they reward the people who did, and continue to spit on the people who didn't get an invite. It has nothing to do with the feat of str.
Oh well.
The problem I have there is the poor communication between the developers and the CMs.
this is only gonna be seen as a reward to a small portion of people: beta participants that don't give a damn about other people
this was a bad idea
Life isn't fair. You don't always win. Learn to live with that now.
No beta tester got anything that will give them an advantage next week. Nobody. Stop crying.
I'm just curious, but what is this "reward" you speak of? A bit of text and an image saying you were in beta that you gain nothing from?
Please explain. I am actually seriously asking...
Blizzard has two types of rewards like this. Achievements and Feats of Strength. Achievements are things anyone can do. Feats of Stregnth are things that only a limited number can do (like attending blizzcon), things out of the game, or things no longer available. Feats aren't meant to be collected and should never be thought of as such.
Not to sound preachy, but worry about the things in life (or games) that you can control, don't worry about those you can't. Whining like a child isn't worth your time or emotional state, I hope you can realize this.
Nothing carried over. What more do you want them to clarify and communicate? You can only say nothing in so many ways. The current FoS is a completly different thing then having achievements and characters carry over from Closed Beta.
You say one thing, and then you contradict yourself right after that. If it is not about the Feat of Strength then why are you upset that someone gets a reward? Either you are upset at someone getting a Reward or you are not. You can't have it both ways.
And who cares if you didn't get into the beta. Are you going to whine when someone gets a rare or legendary from their first play through and you didn't? When someone did X before blizzard removed it?
So you are equally against the Reveal site sigils? Since those are exclusive to the launch of Diablo 3. You are against the CE? Because that is exclusive stuff just for the CE. Its a sigil and a Feat of Strength. Why do those matter so much?
some folks, like me, have mental disorders that makes us want to finish/collect/complete things. it pissed me off to no end in WoW that some things were removed, only offered to certain regions, or whatever else. it could be achievements, pets, mounts...whatever. is it a big deal to normal folks? no, of course not. but there's a lot of gamers with my kind of problem and it's infuriating to not be able to 'get' everything.
please don't hop onto a forum and bash people for something you don't understand. i know there's going to be thousands of players that will be tortured by this. they'll probably get over it eventually (maybe), but that's not the point. this was a bad decision by blizzard. it's only going to please a small portion of beta participants while aggravating many other customers. it makes no sense.
Then don't hop onto a forum and complain that a developer hasn't catered to your mental disorders. You want to be placted at every turn? Create your own game and make your own rules. If you can't handle a few lines of text and a simple image being off limits to you then you should probably seek professional health rather then post on a forum for a video game.
Self entitled kids crying their eyes out... my GOD are you going to get a shock in the real world when you leave your parents house.
it usually has it's own Tab in game too so it's almost like special things they taken out of the game or added a special one time event. To me Feat of Strength is the most honorable achievements of them all.
Blizzard thinks if its not worth points then its not an achievement.
