It looks like people who were invited into the closed beta will be getting a feat of strength along with a unique sigil after logging in for the first time.

In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself). Please note that players who participated only in the Open Beta Weekend, but were not invited to the closed beta, will not receive this Feat of Strength.

I'm glad they didn't require it. Because the only reason I did not obtain Betamax was because once I found out it would not carry over, I knew it would have been a waste of time.
Besides, there will be way cooler banners attainable in the game. This is a gimmick to appease some of the people who wanted something to carry over. Not a big deal either way.
You win, good sir.
The amount of angry people over this is incredible. It is one sigil out of probably hundreds.
Every objection I have read so far says "this is lame because it was based on random luck." By your own statements you are stating how meaningless an unprestigious this FoS and sigil are, so why complain?
All "press" automatically get this, even without opting in.
The fansites that got keys to give out got to choose who gets this (including those who secretly tossed a couple to their personal friends).
Add in that many people who got in didn't even play, and this becomes the least-thought-out crap I've seen from Blizzard in years.
Fine suggestion Sir, Ive had enough of the "others".
Exactly my thought, would of at least restrained the number of people with it, and would of gone to players who actualy ''played'' the beta to its maximum for the longest time aswell. I guess the problem was, with the many resets they couldnt dig older 'betamaxed' and that could of been unfair.
