Hardcore Corpse Looting
The decision on whether or not to allow players to loot dead players in Hardcore is not set in stone. Currently, players are unable to but Blizzard is still open to the idea.

So far in my experience feedback on it has been mixed at best, but it's tough to tell the actual Hardcore players from the riffraff. It's important to keep in mind through that without any kind of ladder resets to zero out the economy it could mean a completely different item landscape for Hardcore years down the road. For us, items being removed from the game when a Hardcore character dies is kind of exciting.

Our approach at this point is to see how this works out, because we think being a bit harsher on Hardcore is ok. Absolutely people may be scared to keep items on them, but maybe that becomes part of the fun and the strategy of it. We're taking a wait and see, but definitely after release we'll be interested to hear thoughts from Hardcore players and see how it's working out.

Treasure Goblin
The Treasure Goblin was currently dropping gold that was shared between all players. They will be changing this so that gold dropped from the Treasure Goblin will drop per-player, however this will not make it in by release.

Here's where it gets interesting: The Treasure Goblin is apparently intended to drop global gold to kind of encourage the party to chase him. However, this is not accurately explained in-game, which is causing this player confusion. We also confirmed that the Treasure Goblin does not drop global items, only global gold.

The developers have decided to change this and make the Treasure Goblin drop individual gold, but the fix will not make it for release. It should come in a future patch after release. I will add this bug to the Known Issues list for when the game comes out on May 15.

Thanks again for your reports, and know that this Beta feedback has helped change the game :)

No, there's no fee to access the currency-based auction house. Any fees are associated with the transactions themselves.

You can find some more info at the link below (be mindful there's tabs to view additional pages), and we'll be releasing a ton more info and specifics in the near future.

Loot Disappearing
Items take about 10 minutes to fully disappear. Are you sure you town portal'd back right away?

Also, if you physically dropped items, those items are now set to Free For All for all players.

Just trying to figure out what happened. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Reforging
Diablo is a game about random drops with randomized stats, so I think something like reforging would really undermine the entire intent of playing. But hey, I'm not a designer. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Pausing
We added pause if you're not in a multiplayer game. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Graphics
The artists on the team are insanely talented and made a beautiful, living painting that we'll all enjoy for years to come. It's a gorgeous game. Anyone who doesn't agree has dumb eyes. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Weapon Sockets
Hrm... Oh! The website is wrong. Is that the confusion? Weapons can have sockets and gems. The website is missing that. It's an error. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Gold
As I've said before, gold is definitely the drop I want most while leveling up my char, and my followers, and my blacksmith, and my stash, and my gems.

Even when it starts dropping in stacks of 200-400g, it's spent before it hits the ground. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)

Irvine Release Event
It's in the middle of an outdoor shopping mall (The Spectrum). There will be no fee to attend. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
